Angel Joy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've used something else from my Christmas NBUS box.

I admired this Papertrey Ink die last Christmas and Santa brought her to me.

We won't tell him how long it took to play with her.  Okay?
I want to stay on his good list.  LOL. I need more NBUS!

I used Cécile's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.

I stamped the stars (it may be NBUS too) with silver ink and heat embossed
with silver powder.  I found two circle dies that would work to cut them out and add
a narrow mat around the starry circle.

The angel was cut from champagne foil that has been in my stash for years.

I've had so much fun with this angel die and will hopefully get some
photos edited and share some more.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Star Cluster (Lavinia)
Ink:   Encore Silver
Paper:   Blue Sparkle, Neenah, Champagne foil
Other:  Silver EP, Angelic Sentiments Die (PTI), Circle dies (HA & MFT), Joy Die (ECD), Sparkling Diamonds Cover Plate (PFS)

Enjoy!

Bonnie, this might be the prettiest ornament hung from Cecile's sketch yet! OH, she is a beauty cut from your foil - I won't say a word about you-know-what to Santa... you are always going to be on his 'nice' list, my friend!

She is beautiful with her starry background, Bonnie. I loved that die too and used it to make ornaments for all the grands and greats this year. I used different colors of foil and some glittery wings. I may post pictures later.

She is beautiful and I love her cut from the foil and the swirly background in the circle die. Perfect take on the sketch. I used her last year and have been thinking of using her again this year. Thanks for the inspiration.

I won't tell Santa about your NBUS angel if you don't tell him about my overflowing NBUS, sheesh. I'm struck by the beauty of your card, Bonnie! The angel is exquisite and I LOVE those stars! Brilliant use of the sketch. Smitten!

What a great substitute for that ornament shape! It's the perfect size and SO elegant! Wonderful take on the sketch, Bonnie!

The angel reminds me of antique ornaments where the design is hammered into the tin. Once again you have put several elements together that compliment each other. Another very special card Bonnie. I cannot picture the angel without the blue starry background. Is it too early to say Merry Christmas?!

This is the most beautiful card. I love angels and she is beautiful in the champagne foil you used. The silver stars set a gorgeous stage for her. Mum's the word to Santa.
