Joy to One and All

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues and it's the last challenge
of the year.  We'll be taking a short break to enjoy the holidays, so you have
a whole month to join in.

This month Tracey picked our colors.  She chose....

I used these fun colors for a Christmas card.

This little gnome was colored with Copics and added over an embossed piece.
I used my punches to make ornaments for the tree and a silvery end to his cap.

The sentiment was done with my Betterpress.

Now let's go and see what my talented friends have done to inspire you.

I hope you'll create a card using Pink & Green and add it to the gallery at

Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on December 29th.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  PP Merry Sentiment Strips (SB)
Ink:   BP Black
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Regal Rose, Silver Glimmer, BP Porcelain
Other:  Small Gnome die (SSS), Flowering Christmas Tree Burst EF (SB), Copics (YG17, YG67, W00, W1, R24)

Enjoy!

Looks like our friend has been sneaking the eggnog, Bonnie! Well, mine would look just like it if I was outside among the trees! It's snowing like crazy at the moment!

Bonnie I love your cute gnome and it looks so fun over the embossed piece. Embossing adds such lovely detail to cards, that's a technique I'm happy to see has survived and revived over the years!

This Christmas gnome is adorable! I just found this die in my stash, and moved it where I could see it more easily. Your framing of the embossed panel is wonderful and I love the addition of the silver embellishments.
