Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's almost the New Year! It seems that the years fly by!
Speaking of time passing quickly, my Aunt Marian has a 94th
birthday coming up.
She loves birds and this time of year the cardinals brighten up those
dreary, snowy days. So the cardinal was the best choice for her card.
She tells me that she very carefully takes the birds and butterflies off
my cards and puts them on her wall where she can see them all the time.
It makes me happy to know that they can brighten up her room.
I die cut the cardinal from real red cardstock and sponged some
Cherry Cobbler ink along the edges of the pieces. His beak was cut from
a scrap of orange and darkened with a Copic marker.
I pulled out a piece of patterned paper and stamped and embossed some
extra snowflakes before mounting the cardinal on a branch and adding
a sentiment.
I was inspired by Donna's card at Freshly Made Sketches.
Challenges:

Triple B - Birds, Butterflies & Blooms - ATG with a bird (Did not use the Inspiration Photos
And now this cardinal is winging it's way to Aunt Marian.

In a tree or on your card, Cardinals are such a lovely bird. I'm sure Marian will love it, Bonnie.
Such a wonderful Cardinal for your aunt, Bonnie! I think it's so sweet that she displays all your birds - and that you were inspired to play cards with FMS! Thanks so much!

Wow, a milestone birthday for your Aunt. I am sure she will love your card with that pretty cardinal, and a nice thought that she saves them to put on her wall. Happy Birthday to her.
She's going to LOVE it Bonnie and I do too! It's white out conditions here today and just saw a Cardinal, and they really do POP against all the white! Your background is so pretty and you've used the sketch beautifully! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
