Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's time for a new challenge at Color Hues.
This month Julie B. picked our colors. She chose....
This bear die had been sitting in my NBUS box for almost a year. I had intended to
use it during Christmas, but never go to it.
Lucky for me it works great for Julie's challenge and for a valentine
for one of the grandchildren.
I die cut the pieces from scraps of cardstock. Her sweater was embossed with
hearts and then I covered it up with arms. Her scarf is red glimmer paper and the
heart (which covers a divot in the front) is cut from rose glimmer paper.
Now let's go and see what my talented friends and our
fantastic Guest Designer, my friend JoAnn, have done to inspire you.
I hope you'll create a card using Red & Pink and add it to the gallery at
Challenge ends at 9:00 AM on February 14th.

You fooled me! I thought when I opened your latest post, it would be a "turning the page" post. It must be cold where you are as it is really cold here in Sunny Florida. It's a good thing your bear is keeping warm - he has enough body fat so staying warm should not be a problem. His scarf look pretty real!

There she is! and OH, is she a cutie! I think I see how you made her sweater 'cuffs', but her arms! YOU are the clever-est crafter of all, Bonnie! I love it bunches!
=]
me again... I hope you had 'just enough' snow to love!
So cute and I'm glad your bear is warm and snuggly in the snowy weather. Love the muffler scarf.
Clever you to make arms for the bear to hold the heart, Bonnie. She is a cutie in her glittery scarf.
Just the right amount of sparkle on this sweet lady and I like her rosy cheeks! Cute card, Bonnie!
That cute bear is dressed so pretty in her pink sweater with glittery scarf. Love that she is holding a cute glittery heart. Great design with these colors. Thanks for the sweet shout out also. Stay safe and warm. ((Hugs))
So beary cute and creative! The glitter papers add perfect sparkle.
And what a cute bear he is! Glad you brought him out of hibernation for this adorable card! Love the colors and that GLIMMER!
Very fun bear for the red & pink! She looks quite cozy in her sweater, offering her heart for anyone who needs some love. So sweet
Oh, Bonnie, she's adorable as a Valentine! I looked up the set and I can see she'll be fabulous at Christmastime, too. It may have taken a while to get around to her, but her cuteness is timeless!
That bear is adorable for a Valentine's card, Bonnie. I especially love the glitter red to add some sparkle. I have that same die just waiting. :) xx
