Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
We've had beautiful weather here lately. We desperately need rain, but I am
enjoying the balmy temperatures and the mosquitoes haven't appeared yet.
Between the nice weather, yard work and good books, I haven't spent much
time in the craft room. But I took a few minutes this afternoon to do this.
that's about ready to close and I wanted to get a card in there since I had a
word edger die that has not had nearly enough use!
The sweet bird die hadn't been off the shelf for a long time either.
Let's go see all the die cut sentiments at Just Us Girls.

Love the way you did "Just a Note". Blue birds are always welcome at our house. We were very dry too Bonnie. There are woods in front of our house and behind our house. When it gets so dry I worry about fires. It started raining here last Sunday. At first it was not a whole lot but yesterday we had rain all day long and some times it was a gully washer. It is still raining, a slow and steady rain. I certainly hope you get rain soon.

I forgot to tell you just how pretty your Bluebird is and it's all because of your spot on painting.

Bonnie, What a pretty card! The bark looking background is perfect for your bird and the colors are very natural. I love edgers dies and this one is a fave of mine. Thanks for playing at Just Us Girls this week!
What a sweet way to say missing you with that pretty bird. Great woody embossing folder and I love the edger die. Wish I could send you some of our rain from this season.
Bonnie, I love seeing your darling Bluebird again! That embossed bark and sweet edger found the perfect home!
[p.s. I have had an Oriole AND a hummingbird at my feeder this morning!]

That little blue bird is so sweet perched atop your die cut sentiment, Bonnie. I love the texture in the background. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
Your sweet bird looks right at home, wishing all good things to everyone with his "note". He's handsomely dressed, appropriate for the challenge. I adore those edger dies!
Absolutely beautiful Bonnie! That sweet blue bird looks so content nestled against the NOTE edger and all that wonderful texture in the background! Lovely, lovely card my friend! And send some of that warmth this way please...tired of temps in the 40's and low 50's for highs!! Hugs. :0)
Love it, we could do with barmy weather, hailstones and strong winds here in Wales today with 10C (50f). x
I love the way you have this cute little beautifully coloured bird perched on the die cut edger which fills in that bottom half of the card and works brilliantly Bonnie, and the Subtle EF used on the rest gives the background a simpler look so that the bird stands out..a wonderful card! x
Oh I love all the texture on this one. Your bluebird is sweet and the note edger makes for a fabulous card all around.
Sweet bluebird to say I Miss You. Love the texture and the colors. That big note edger die looks great.
Beautiful card with the large sentiment and that sweet bird. I have a few of those Penny Black dies, but I've used them so rarely, or some not at all. I really need to pull them out. They really do make a statement on a card. :) The weather has been great here to ... and then today it rained. We really needed it, but it only lasted for the morning and then by the afternoon it was sunny again. :) I love all the colours in the garden this time of year, and so many birds are visiting us with lots of chirping in the yard. :) Enjoy this time, Bonnie. Thank goodness the mosquitoes aren't here yet! And the weather is warm, but not hot. Love, Lolly
Your sweet bird looks so pretty resting on the note, and I love the cracked and weathered wood grain in the background. I'm happy you found the time for crafting along with the other things you love to do. Nice weather always adds that extra element of joy. I've certainly been feeling it here!
It's so nice to hear you're having beautiful weather and lots of activities. It's taking your mind off cardmaking, but it's helping you recover from winter. Your sweet bird has beautiful colors; I love blue birds. The background, as always, is beautifully embossed, perfectly matching the card's theme.
