Falalalala

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This little elfette has been singing away in the box on the shelf.
She finally caught my undivided attention so she could perform for all of you.

This is probably my favorite Penny Black Christmas stamp.  Maybe because I love
Christmas carols and most of my friends do too.

When we make Christmas cards together in the fall, we sing along to my favorite
Time Life Christmas CDs.  It makes for even more fun to be together.

She was colored with Distress Inks or Distress re-inkers.  I don't remember
which, and cut with the companion die.

The background is a piece of re-inker & frost white paint smoosh
from my stash of backgrounds.

Challenges:

This little singer is truly wonderful. I completely understand your admiration for this elf. You used this stamp beautifully, cutting out the character and gluing it onto the card panel, then stepping into the cutout window. The watercolor background is perfect; it reminds me of a snowstorm.
hugs,

That little elfette is so cute and you colored her beautifully. Love your pretty blue frosty background and those double frames. Glad she got your attention so she could sing for all of us and help you get your Christmas cards done. Thanks for all the lovely inspiration.

I love that stamp too, Bonnie, and you've designed a beautiful card around her. I'm glad that you included every lalala. LOL

What I wouldn't give to come to your card-playing-sing-a-long, Bonnie!!
This little cutie who sings with her whole self is my favorite, too! Maybe it's her belly peeking out? lol
Such a wonderful Christmas card!

She looks so joyful! I love the paint smooshed background, too. What fun it would be to have such a card making sing-a-long!
