Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It looks like it's going to be a hot week. I'll be spending a lot of time in
the craft room trying to stay cool.
When I saw Amy's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, I immediately though of the
wood slices from Papertrey Ink's Wild Wood set. It was a perfect way to use
up some of those little scraps of cardstock left over from past projects.
It didn't take long to do a bit on inking on the flowers, leaves and wood slice.
Those little bees take more time, but they are so worth it.
Speaking of bees. We still aren't seeing any bees on the lantana. We've had a few
butterflies but no bees. We're worried about what's happened to the bees!

I've always loved that little wood slice die, Bonnie - you and Donna use it so well! I love how you've arranged your flowers and found the perfect little branch and buds to mimic Amy's sketch!
We had hundreds of bees on our flowering crab this spring, and I continue to see the big bumble bees on our catmint. I do hope they come back to visit you soon!

Such a pretty card. I do like the wood slice with the little flower bouquet and the bee is cute. I have that set still sitting in my NBUS box. I need to get it out. Thanks for the inspiration.
A pretty way to use the wood circle and a great sketch for it. I've seen a few bees but very few lighting bugs. We've always had them in our field and they are mostly gone now. Are they on vacation with the bees?
Your wood slice is the perfect spot to lay your beautiful flowers! I love the design,.
What a delightful card. I love all the details. xx
