Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
This is my last week Guest Designing for Just Us Girls.
What a lovely team! I've enjoyed being a part of it this month.
This week's challenge is to use any stencil.
I've used an Alex Syberia embossing folder and stencil to do this
very bright card. After I had it done, I checked out fuchsia on Google
and see that I have reversed the dark and light pink. LOL! Too many birthdays!
This hummingbird doesn't seem to mind though.
Thanks so much to the JUGS team for such a warm welcome!
I hope you'll pull out your stencils and join this week's challenge at

Bonnie... absolutely fabulous! So realistic. I don't have any embossing folder/stencil combos, but I will definitely be on the lookout for one in the future. Embossing folders have always stymied me. I could never figure out how to cleanly color raised bits. BUT this is fabulous! We so love when you join JUGS and share your creativity.
I like your version of the Fuchsia with the dark and light reversed just fine Bonnie! This card is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and that Hummer is soooooo pretty! Love the shaped card base too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
OMG Bonnie! Your card is sheer perfection. Your coloring/painting is outstanding. And the colors - WOW! I am particularly impressed with your Hummingbird. I am afraid you leave us all in the dust!!

I completely agree with the previous commenters. This card is stunning! Your work with embossing templates is simply perfect. You've created incredible inspiration for JUG this month; both the team and we will miss your incredible work.

I saw your stunning card on the challenge blog and come for a closer look. I love the fabulous Fushias, they are my favourite flower and coloured beautifully-there are so many colour variations too-yours is beautiful -love it.

So gorgeous, Bonnie. The colors are wonderful with both the flowers and the hummingbird and the frame pulls it all together. It's been a pleasure having you as our guest.
This is beautiful Bonnie! No need to lament over anything here. Thank you for being a fabulous guest with us. We have so enjoyed your work!!!
Oh, those sweet little Ruby Throats do love a Fuchsia! A perfect pairing and gorgeous stencil coloring, Bonnie!

Such a beautiful card! Thanks for Guesting with us this month!
Gorgeous card! Love the fuschias and the way you did them - you captured them perfectly. I always have hummingbirds on my hanging basket of fuschias!
Love your shaped card Bonnie. The fuschias and the hummer are colored beautifully, who cares if the colors are reversed, they still look perfect.
This is absolutely beautiful, Bonnie! We see ruby red throat hummers at our feeder everyday. Bet they would love your marvelous fuchsia too!
Bonnie, any way I look at your fuschias and hummer, they're gorgeous! Probably my favorite, though it might have to arm-wrestle an iris or too. Your card is delightful and will be accepted, no matter the color scheme -- remember, it's artistic license, right?!
It was a treat for US to have you as JUGS guest designer! All of your projects have been so inspiring and this one is a showstopper! I love how the little hummer is camouflaged by the stenciled fuchsias, no matter what the color order. Well done guesting, Bonnie!
These embossd fuchsias and hummingbird are so beautifully coloured Bonnie, and I love the die cut shaped mat with the pretty light green matted layer behind..a fabulous card and congratulations on being a guest over at Just Us Girls. x
Stunning. x
So pretty, Bonnie, reminds me a bit of painted china.
I'd say the humming bird likes the darker color at the nectar site...Very pretty card and I too like the way you colored it.
Gorgeous! I'm going to sit down and play with my set any minute now... really... maybe. I love the shaped card, and the hummingbird is a fabulous addition. There are a lot of different fuchsia colors, so I'm thinking there might be one just like this. If not, there should be!
Beautiful card Bonnie. Those fuscshias are gorgeous and I LOVE your hummer. Creating it with a shaped base makes it even more special. Great work. Congrats on being GD at JUGS this month. Your work has been outstanding. Love, Lolly
Simply stunning and such beautifully blended fuschias Bonnie. The colours are spectacular. Love the die cut frames and how you used it as your base. You are a Winner! Loved having you share your talents with us as our Guest and I know we will see you pop in again soon.
Echoing the others: your fuschia and hummingbird card is an eye-catching, beautiful, stencil sensation! The framing sets off the image wonderfully. Thank you so much for being an incredibly inspiring guest with us this month.
Hugs~carol
