Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I had pulled this die set out to use. It's been in the NBUS box for a month
or so now. I die cut the blooms from mixed media paper and colored with
Zig markers and a waterbrush.
When I saw Kim's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #756, I thought
these pieces would fit into this sketch beautifully. See if you agree.
I had a few pieces left over and put them on another card.
I didn't follow the sketch for this one.
Card Recipe

Ink: Betterpress Black (SB)
Paper: Neenah Solar White, Mixed Media (Strathmore)

Wow! The bouquet on the first card is truly beautiful! All those layers, the die-cut background pattern, the frame... It’s a real gem! I love how you colored the flowers; it gives them a 3D look. The second card is more understated and very elegant.

Yes, they fell right into place for the sketch! So fresh and lovely, Bonnie!
Both cards are just beautiful my friend!
Bonnie, I spotted that sketch right away! How beautiful are these blooms that you've water colored so sweetly? So pretty even that little flutterby couldn't resist! Gorgeous frame and debossed panel!
Thanks so much for planting this one in our FMS garden!

Both cards are beautiful with those lovely blooms which you water colored beautifully. Yes, the first one fits the FMS sketch perfectly. Love how you framed the left over pieces to make that beautiful 2nd card. with the lovely soft green background.
Two absolute beauties Bonnie, although the first one totally has my heart! Such sweet little blooms and colored perfectly, and yes, I saw the sketch right away on the 1st card! And way to go getting another card from the leftover pieces...gotta love that!! Hugs. :0)
Your blossoms are lovely, and your Zig coloring is amazing! I love the design pieces and extra additions that really show everything off. Both cards are beautiful and definitely worthy of the ooohs and aaahs coming from my direction!
You've created such lovely bouquets - beautifully colored! I love the details behind them with the background, the shapes and the border die. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
I do agree, Bonnie. Your flowers are so sweet and that label die is fabulous to put them on. I love that fancy edge die too.
Beautiful blooms Bonnie. And I love the way you've used the sketch but taken it up a notch with your beautifully shaped elements. xx

Gosh, they're both so pretty! I've scrolled back and forth between them I don't know how many times... as if I could choose a favorite, ha! I do love that border die and how you've fit the sentiment on the first card. The second has the pretty green panel and the larger flower, sigh. Both so lovely!
Bonnie, lovely take on the sketch and YAY for left overs.
Two wonderful cards Bonnie, and I love the shape of the frame and the flowers look so pretty over the top, and the pierced cover die and border strip on the first and the lovely green card on the second, plus the two super sentiments, finish each design beautifully. x
