He is Risen

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Wishing you a joyful Easter.

  1. Christ the Lord is ris’n today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heav’ns, and earth, reply, Alleluia!
  2. Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once He died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!
  3. Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids His rise, Alleluia!
    Christ hath opened paradise, Alleluia!
  4.                                  Charles Wesley

Butterfly and Blooms

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've been seeing butterflies.  Outside and inside.

My favorite way to do backgrounds these days is with a 3D embossing
folder, colored cardstock and white ink.

This time I used kraft cardstock and the ink direct from the inkpad to
the raised images.

The butterfly was hot foiled on mixed media paper and watercolored
using re-inker.

Then I went over it with Wink of Stella.

It is VERY sparkly and shiny!

Challenges:
Color Hues #61:  Peach & Kraft
Triple B:  Birds, Butterflies, Blooms

Card Recipe
Stamps:
Ink:   Whisper White, Peach Parfait re-inker
Paper:   Mixed Media (Strathmore 400 series), Kraft (MFT)
Other:  Butterflies Hot Foil Plate (PFS), Gold Foil, Floral Archway 3D EF (Spl)

Enjoy!

Easter Bunnies

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I belong to a Craft Group where five of us gather monthly to do a craft.
This month we played with bunnies.  Here are the three cards that came from
this playtime.

First up....

With pretty paper behind the cutouts and some sponged sky all framed up
in a mini slimline frame.

and....

A single plaid bunny eyeing the sentiment from my stash.

Finally....

I love this happy die.  The bunnies are frolicking in the tall grass.

I'm not sure what some of these supplies are.

Challenges:
Inkspirational #286 - Mood Board (Inspired by colors, eggs)
Tic Tac Toe - Right Column (Die Cuts, Pastel, Easter)

Enjoy!

Tinsel Tree

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another Christmas card for the stash.

The colors are showing more green in this photo.  The actual colors are more aqua.

I used a Tim Holtz die to cut this silver Glimmer Paper and kept all the
die cut inside pieces in with a bit of tape.  The frame was already cut and I added
some pinpoint snowflakes to the window.  The enamel dots were from a friend and don't
have any source on the package.

Challenges:
Jingle Belles - Tinsel Tree Inspired by the photo below - Shiny tinsel and ornaments on the tree

Card Recipe
Stamps:
Ink:
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Mint Macaroon, Silver Glimmer
Other:  Woodlands Die (TH), Pin Point Snowflake Plate (MB), Mini Slimline Double Stitched Die (KS), Subtle EF (ret SU), Perfect Sentiments Holiday Hot Foil Plate & Die (PFS), Silver Foil

Enjoy!

Turning the Page April 2023

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Time to turn the page on our calendars to a new month.

I make calendars each year for my desk and my family.

I thought I'd set up a regular post each month to share them.

I hope you enjoy my “Turning the Page” posts.

Here's our April page using a stencil cut from Neenah with the
Single Iris die from Penny Black.

By the way, the calendars are clipped together and can be displayed on an easel
or hung on a push pin or magnetic hook.  We all have a different way to display them.

If you would like a word document with the calendar, email me (bonklass(at)gmail(dot)com.
and I will be glad to send it to you so you can design your own.

If your email address is not in your profile, I have no way to send this to you.

Email link is in my profile on the sidebar.

Enjoy!
