Turning the Page May 2022

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Time to turn the page on our calendars to a new month.

I make calendars each year for my desk and my family.

I thought I'd set up a regular post on the last day of each month to share them.

I hope you enjoy my “Turning the Page” posts.

Here's our May page using Hero Florals Poppy by Hero Arts.

By the way, the calendars are 4 ½ inches by 7 inches.

They can be clipped together and can be displayed on an easel or hung

on a push pin or magnetic hook.  We all have a different way to display them.

If you would like a word document with the calendar, email me (bonklass(at)gmail(dot)com.

and I will be glad to send it to you so you can design your own.

If your email address is not in your profile, I have no way to send this to you.

Email link is in my profile on the sidebar.

Enjoy!

Plaid Tree

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I'm on a roll for Christmas cards.  I apologize to those who are still seeing snow.

I spread some embossing paste through a stencil then sprinkled with glitter for
the background.  A little glue and glitter brought sparkle to the snowbank.

Dee's Distinctively Jumbo tree cut from plaid paper made the tree and
a couple red cardinals decorate the tree.  I've used dimensionals
between the tree's layers so there's lots of dimension to go with the sparkle.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Christmas Craft Creations!

Challenges:
Christmas Craft Creations April - Tartan Plaid (not sure if this is Tartan but it's plaid)
Rudolph Days -ATG Christmas

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Prancers (PB)
Ink:   Bundled Sage (DOX)
Paper:   Neenah, Holiday Cheer Paper Pack (Honey Bee Stamps)
Other:  Jumbo Tree Stacker (Dee's Distinctively), Embossing Paste (Wendy Vechi), Glitter (Sweet Poppy), Sparkling Snow Stencil (Echo Park)

Enjoy!

Silver and Gold Snowflakes

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

The Peace on Earth Mood Board inspired me to get out my Glimmer plate and
a NBUS snowflake plate I bought last year and never used.

This wasn't from my first attempt!  I really need to use this more often so
I'm familiar with the process.  I do find that tape is very helpful!

I cut small pieces of foil for each snowflake as they're all in a line and
taped each one.  When heated, I ran them through the Big Shot and was
finally rewarded with this panel.

I've mounted it on an envelope from my stash.  I believe a Hallmark card
came in it and it was too pretty to throw away.

The sentiment was stamped and heat embossed.

Challenges:
Krafty Chicks #608 - CAS week
NBUS #37 - Never Before Used Schtuff (I hope Glimmer Plates are included?)

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Christmas Wishes (Kaisercraft)
Ink:   Encore Gold
Paper:   Hammermill, Recycled Envelope
Other:  Glimmer Foil System, Sparkle Border Hot Foil Plate (Spl), Speckled Prism & Starburst Foils (Spl), Gold EP

Enjoy!

Wobbly Gnome for Christmas

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I am behind on my stash of Christmas cards so I'm hoping to get lots
done in the next week.

My gnome friend has been colored with Copics and added to the card front
with a Mini Action Wobble so he waves his sign.

The embossed background was in my Christmas box.  I don't know who made this
embossing folder.  It was borrowed from a friend a long time ago.

Challenges:
Christmas Kickstart #61 - From Our Gnome to Yours

Card Recipe
Stamps:  It's Snome Time (Helz Cuppledish/Craft Consortium), Baubles Set (Magazine Freebie)
