Double Wiped with Butterfly

Hello from beautiful Vancouver.

I've used baby wipes two ways on this card.

We're doing this technique at our retreat today.
What a fun time together.  It was totally worth the trip!

I swiped a baby wipe full of ink on a piece of mixed media paper for the background,
then stamped the flower using Distress ink and the MISTI.

I Die cut the butterfly from baby wiped DOX inked photo paper and
raised up on black foam.

CAS Mix Up challenge is open until the 24th.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Dancing Daisies (PB)
Ink:  Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade (DOX), Picked Raspberry, Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs (DI)
Paper:   Neenah, Mixed Media, Photo Paper (HP Advanced)
Other:  Magical Butterfly Die (AR), Baby Wipe, Black Sharpie, Double Pierced Rectangle Die (Avery Elle), Foam

What a pretty soft blend of colors the baby wipes created...with your skills, of course. Who would of thought a work horse like baby wipes could have such artistic values, too!

Beautiful butterfly - love the way it looks in the baby wipe technique! And I must try using the leftover baby wipe on a background - such a soft look.

So beautiful, Bonnie, with the flower fading into the wipe background as the photo paper butterfly takes center stage.
