Eat, Sleep, Craft, Repeat 2019

Hello crafty peeps!

I'm excited to say that I was able to join in at the
Eat, Sleep, Craft, Repeat 2019 Retreat this year.

My heart was in my throat as I flew by myself across the country,
but it was so worth it to spend a week with these dear people!

Loll's SIL Alex came to take pictures on Sunday.
What a treat to meet him and get pointers on photographing our cards.
He was an excellent teacher and took some awesome pictures that I'll treasure!
You can see some of the pictures by clicking the Retreat 2109 tab at the top.

We all took turns leading the group in techniques.

I came home with a lot of backgrounds, images to put on cards and images to color.
I've been home a week and still haven't got everything sorted.

It was a tearful goodbye after a memorable week.
We were all hoarse from the talking and laughing!

If  you'd like to see some of what the other gals did, hop along to join in the fun.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Your iris is gorgeous on your swiped, vibrant background. Great framing too!

I'm so thrilled that you were brave enough to fly all the way to Vancouver. It has been so many years of friendship, all leading up to meeting you in person for the very first time. It made the reteat even that much more sweeter, my friend! I really enjoyed the DOX on photo paper with baby wipe swipe technique. I had tried it at home and it didn't turn out, but under your wonderful guidance, I had success at the retreat. Thank you for sharing and for coming a long way to be with us. It was a very special week! Love you, Loll.

OMG...Bonnie, after being friends for so many years thru SCS and our blogs...what a joy it was to meet and play with you in person:-) Your DOX and baby wipe technique was one of my very favorites. Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend.

Fun flying together from BC to Seattle too. We had several hours of one on one chats that made the time go by quickly. That is the plus of having to be at the airport 3 hours early and then our plane ride was a bit unnerving because we were delayed and you only had 45 minutes to catch your flight from Seattle to Raleigh, but it all worked out when your speedy chair with wheels driver at the airport came to your rescue>-) So brave of you to travel cross country alone. Loved hearing your travel stories in your Southern Accent:-) ! I sure hope we can play together again next year. Miss you, my friend.

Love and Hugs....nancy

I'm so happy for you, Bonnie! You took the courage and flew by yourself to meet your wonderful crafty friends! I can tell by reading their blogs how happy your friends were when they finally met you. All the beautiful smiles in the photo tell everything. :-)
Your baby wipe card is gorgeous! I love the translucent and romantic mix of colors. The choice of the frame is perfect, with the colors peeking from the squares.
