Hello there crafty friends.
color to the tops of each bird.
Then I blended the color with a damp waterbrush, adding a bit
of pink on the underside. They ended up being ombre colored
don't you think?
I colored the branch with markers and blended with water.
The background was an oops from a class a couple of months ago.
I thought the embossed feathers worked well with the birds.

I always love when you do bird cards Bonnie and this one is no exception...it's GORGEOUS!! Love, LOVE the soft blue coloring on the birds and they look so content sitting on that branch. A perfect background too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)

This is a definite WOW job on your beautiful watercoloring! Your color blending couldn't be more perfect. That embossing folder is so perfect for this and at first sight it appeared to be an embossed tree. Love this.

What lovely blue ombre birds, Bonnie! The way you colored them is amazing, and I love that you added a subtle feather dry embossing to the background. Great fussy-cutting too! (I would have cut off a beak or two!)
