Finishing Flowers in Bloom

Hello friends.  I'm glad you stopped by.

Last week I shared a photo of my homework for the
Online Card Class Coloring Challenge Road Trip class.

I've tweaked it and have a finished card.

I added some dots with a white gel pen.  I think that little bit made
the flowers really pop.  I also added some gems to cover some
not so nice areas from my shadow around the flowers.

I really enjoyed this class and I know I'll be going back
again and again to pick up more tips and tricks.

Thank you Kathy Racoosin for a fantastic class!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Oooh Bonnie, I simply adore the shades of blue and the black flower centres with the white dots does indeed make them pop beautifully. A fabulous card and finished perfectly with the white embossed on black sentiment too. x

A striking card, Bonnie. Those touches of white with the black and beautiful blues sure do work together well. And the black strip with white sentiment adds a lot.

Wow, your coloring has such depth Bonnie, you have learned a lot from this class from the looks of it. I love those pretty flowers, and I am loving your coloring. Those white dots do make your flowers pop. Gotta love a white gel pen. Those gems look beautiful too, I don't know what they are covering, but looks like they belong there. Hugs, Brenda

These blue blooms are gorgeous, I agree the white really bring this bouquet forward. Wish I could some of those dots on some of my watercolours LOL.
Love the black label of perfect recall of the flowers hearts.

This is gorgeous, Bon, and I've loved going back through your awesome cards from the class! This class is one of the Twofer prizes so it's nice to see that you enjoyed it. I bought one for myself, too, but haven't taken it yet and now you've got me itching to get to it! Enjoy the weekend! Hugs, Dolly

You turned your beautiful blue flowers into a stunning card, Bonnie! You're absolutely right about the white dots. I compared the picture of your original post with this card, and the gel pen dots really make the flowers pop and look lively. I must say this again: Wonderful Copic coloring! :-)
