Stenciled Tag

Hi there.  I'm glad you stopped by!

Today I'm sharing another tag card.

I've cut two large tags with the CUTplorations Luggage Tag die, scoring
one about a half inch from the top then using a bit of liquid glue
to stick the two pieces together.

The front was cut with the next size smaller die from a piece
I'd stenciled with these trees.

The trees were a little too dark so I die cut a piece of vellum
to put over the background.  I love the snowy, misty look.
Frosty torn paper snowbanks and this
sweet deer (colored with Copics) finish the scene.

CAS Stencil is celebrating their 1st Birthday and Nancy has
asked us to use a new stencil.

I'll add this to the gallery at CAS Christmas where Christine is asking for

Enjoy!

What a gorgeous tag Bonnie - love how you have muted the colour of your stencil with Vellum - it really does give the effect of a heavy winter fog!

My immediate thought when first looking at this was I wonder how you got that soft smoky look for your trees and then I saw you used a piece of vellum, brilliant. I shall have to remember that trick. Thanks for sharing this lovely design at CAS Stencil challenge xx

Great project from STAMPlorations, Bonnie. This little reindeer looks beautiful against the background of a winter scene. I can't stop admiring your Christmas trees, they look like they are emerging from the fog. Great!
