Guest Designing at Penny Black with an Ebullient Bird

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Today I'm honored to be Guest Designing for
Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This month's challenge is

I'm using a new to me stamp set.  I love all the designs in this set, but
this bird was my favorite so he got inked up first.

I've colored him up with Arteza Twimarkers and a new waterbrush
that was a Christmas present from a dear friend. The brush worked beautifully
with these markers!

While the piece was drying, I die cut a circle off the edge and dry embossed a piece
of Neenah to frame the design.  I was thinking about a certain friend that likes
gray so I popped it on a gray card base.

I hope you'll join us at
Penny Black Saturday!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

You are such a fabulous card designer Valerie -- your well of creativity runs deep. I love this card and the stamp you used.
Every time I turn around, it seems you are using a new coloring agent. You must have some good storage in your craft room.
2020 is going to be a good year - I feel it in my bones!!!

Congratulations on being Guest Designer at PB Saturday Challenge, Bonnie!
This is so beautiful! Your coloring wows me. I especially loved the colors of the bird, wondering what shade of gray you used. I checked the card recipe and saw 3 shades of gray (not one shade) listed - no wonder the bird looks fabulous!
The off-the-edge circle design is perfect for the curvy lines of the bird and the stem, too.

I'm on board with any stamp set called Ebullient Bonnie but this bird is particularly adorable and I'll have to look out for him. You've coloured him and the flowers beautifully and your textured frame sets him off perfectly.
