Treats of Sweets

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It was impossible for me to get a good photo of this.  The striped paper is foiled vellum
and the camera just picked up a bit of the shine.

The Power Poppy digital candy canes are glossed but the photo doesn't
show any of that shine.  It does show where the Crystal Glaze made some of the red run.
Oh, well...Sweet Wishes anyway.

Great contrast with candy canes, beautifully colored, of course! against that vivid striped paper. An eye catching card.

The candy canes are gorgeous Bonnie, and I love the striped foiled vellum, so rich and makes a wonderful background, and the extra layer with the falling snow embossing looks really pretty too. x

Anything shiny and glossy is a photo’s nemesis, but I think you did great capturing its beauty. Fabulous card and colouring. I’m sure it’s even more amazing IRL.

the card is a stunner even without seeing the shimmer and shine. I am so envious of your fussy cutting, I always have to cut close and use a marker to hide the flaws.

Well it looks fantastic to me... I'm having a lot of trouble lately with photos... Maybe it's the new glasses! Love the combination of elements here and that such a lovely stamp Bonnie

Nothing wrong with this at ALL! I see the foil, and thought someone had tried licking these peppermint sticks - they look that real, Bonnie!
Gosh I love that stamp! You've made it the star, for sure!

I'm glad the camera picked up some shine - it gives us a better idea of the paper used. I love that paper especially with the candy canes. Gingerbread and candy canes are great for Christmas. As always, your card is delightful!
