For this card, I've stamped on Neenah and carefully watercolored with
Distress ink smooshed on a palette and applied with a slightly damp waterbrush.
I've splattered with acrylic paint thinned with a bit of water.
It's hard to see in the photo, but the background is subtly embossed with the
The main image is on a piece of foam for added dimension.

Happy New Year Bonnie, those splatters are just perfect. Less is definitely more on this card and the deep black enhances the image without overwhelming it. love how you have coloured and framed that bird too and added that extra interest from the leaves on the background, gorgeous xx

I'm glad I already have this stamp or you would make me want to order it. You've done a lovely job with the watercolor on Neenah. The framing, the die cut leaves, the Subtle EF, and all the white make this a sweet kind of exquisite. And the splatters are perfect!

I have a soft spot for birds and this one in particular. The coloring is absolutley brilliant...seeing a bluebird always seems so hopeful. Your spattering is excellent and framing your critter was such a terrrific idea. Love the addition of the white on white diecuts, always one of my favorite looks.
The one thing that always struck me about your work is your presentation. This is such a beautiful card, Bonnie and love that bird. You painted him perfectly too.
I am very scared to splatter in black on such a perfect CAS but you make it look sweet and effortless.

What a beautiful and elegant card using Hilary's theme of splatters, and love the little splatter behind the prettily coloured bird Bonnie and some wonderful embossing in the background. I love the shape of the topper and given more dimension with it popped up. x

What lovely water coloring on your sweet robin Bonnie! we just had a big group of robins eating holly berries on the bush near our side door! Pretty framing and added die cut and embossing on your card base! xx

Love the wonderful design and the beautiful watercoloring, Bonnie! The off-the-center elegant shaped window, the leaves, and the subtle embossed card base look like a piece of art on a beautiful plaster wall. The light colors of the image and the fine splatters are so pretty!
