Spring Thank You

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

A quick card inked with markers and blended with a damp waterbrush.
I did some second and third generation stamping of splatters to add a little color
to the background.  It was the perfect size to frame in this window.

We recently went to Nags Head for a few days.  This card is for the sweet
neighbor that picked up our mail and kept an eye on our house while we were gone.
Good neighbors are a real blessing!

Want to see some of what we saw at the beach?

Day 1 - High seas and crashing waves

Day 2 - Fog and wind

Day 3 - A little calmer

Day 4 - Sunny skies in time to go home

But it's all good at the beach!

Challenges:
The Four Seasons - May-Spring

Ink:   Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sky, Soft Seafoam, Versafine Onyx Black

Enjoy!

How wonderful that you were at the beach for a few days - I don't mind the clouds, or fog as long as the temps are warm!
Gorgeous card and a beautiful way to say thank you - you're right good neighbors are the best!

Lucky you getting away to the beach! Though I'm feeling very fortunate myself that Covid is at a point where I felt I could safely travel to Toronto to see my three sisters (for the first time since Nov 2019 - I've never gone that long in my life without seeing them). Love your card - beautifully coloured tulip and perfect framing.

Beautiful painting Bonnie. That window die is one of my favorites and I seldom think to use it. Great background for it too. I am envious of your wonderful beach vacation in spite of the weather. The photos do look wonderful.

Glad you had a nice getaway, Bonnie, even if they weren't all sunny days. Having had to call on a neighbor recently, I know how special they can be. She'll love your beautiful card.

Sweet card for your neighbour, Bonnie. It's so nice that you got away to the beach for a few days. Looks like there was lots to see there. Gorgeous crashing waves!

Your card is adorable with the soft palette and your fabulous marker watercoloured cards that you do so well, my friend. Love the CAS design that makes the gorgeous poppy the star. xx

Adorable thank you card and perfectly CAS.

The beach looks too cold for me. Too bad the sunshine didn’t come out earlier on your trip. At least you were able to get away.
