Warmest Wishes

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

A few weeks ago I participated in a Zoom get together with friends.

We did Chrissie's Faux Letterpress technique.

I didn't like the way my die transferred ink so I pressed it into the cardstock without
inking.  Then I used the outcut from die cutting the snowflake as a stencil
to get the color in the impression.

Then I did it in blue....

and in lavender....

I think they'll make good thank you cards or thinking of you cards for this season.

Enjoy!

I haven't had the time to comment on your last post!!! You are going right up to the line with your card making. These three cards are beautiful - my favorite one is the pink one. There is something about the soft pink, silver and white that is very - well the only word I can think of is breath taking. And that is exactly how I felt when I first saw this card. Someday I will try this technique but for right now I am sticking to the "oh so easy" cards.
Merry Christmas!

Three great cards! I haven't had luck inking the dies either, but your cut out does a wonderful job. These will be welcomed into any house, especially this winter with the cold/snow/blizzards that we've already been having - stay safe and warm!

The Christmas card in a pink version looks wonderful. A beautiful card with this new die embossing technique. The other colors are just as beautiful.
Merry Christmas my dear friens!

Three beautiful cards Bonnie, a great idea to use the die cut stencil to colour the letterpress image :)

All 3 are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bonnie, but I think my favorite is the first one in pink! Anyone would be delighted to get any one of these 3 cards though...such a lovely technique to show off how gorgeous nature really is! (As long as I'm looking at it from inside though...this blizzard is getting old as it's day 3 and just doesn't seem to want to leave!!) Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

What a pretty snowflake trio in pastel colors, Bonnie! The sparkle of the snowflakes, the lovely soft ink-blending inside the debossed areas, and the color-matching frames are all so lovely!

p.s. I hope you're not affected by the winter storm. Please stay safe and keep yourself warm, my friend!
