Color Hues 100 Happy Hanukkah

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's a special day at the Color Hues Challenge.

First my card....

Our fantastic leader, Nanc' chose the colors for this challenge...

For this background I ink blended blue and purple Distress ink on a piece of
Neenah Solar White and splattered water then blotted for some texture.

The menorah is stamped and heat embossed on another ink blended piece
(that had been stamped too high), embossed and die cut then inlaid
in the gold frame.

My inspiration for this card was a beautiful painting in the Jewish synagogue
where we vote.

NOW FOR THE SPECIAL MESSAGE

There will be a fabulous prize offered to one of our winners. You can read all the

What beautiful shades of blue and purple, and such a great Hanukkah card design (since I have to make a few every year, I'll keep it in mind to CASE!).

Great blending and well rescued for the central panel, nobody would have guessed. The gold sits well against the purple and blue background for a luxurious effect. :)
