Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
One of my favorite views in the Winter is the cardinals spot of color in
the otherwise drab scenery.
The leaves and berries are stenciled using the stencils from the set I used for this card.
I don't use a lot of stencils, but I think this is my absolute favorite!
The rush is on. Thanks to all the Christmas challenges through the year, I have plenty of
Christmas cards done and some are even addressed and ready to mail. It's not too soon to
start on cards for next year though and they are my favorite kind of cards to make
this time of year.

Your red cardinal is so pretty and the stenciled background is lovely and a perfect place for him to perch on that branch among the lovely Holiday Sprigs.
Oh, Bonnie! He is magnificent! and you have placed him in the perfect spot! In fact, I am so enjoying the couple I have outside of my studio eating the Wintergreen berries! Don't you just love how he feeds his mate?
I love that stencil and now I have to go find out where to find it... lol

Your stenciled background is beautiful Bonnie and a perfect spot for your lovely, lovely Cardinal! GORGEOUS card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Mr Cardinal is stunning...I've never heard of those dies before, so you may be just like Michele in your enabling capacity! Your stenciling is stellar too. Love this!
I agree, Bonnie. I love to see the cardinals sitting in a snow covered tree. Well actually I love to see them anytime. ;) Your stencil was a great place to show him off. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
I just wish we had cardinals in this country. They are so special and what a lovely card. I received 2 Christmas cards in the post today, so it is definitely not too early xx
What a great job you did on that cardinal. You managed to define his feathers. Love that stenciled background too.
I love the pretty foliage and berries stencilled background and your wonderful bright cardinal over the top Bonnie, and looking great on the kraft card. I am behind as usual but will hopefully catch up. x
Oh my, what a pretty cardinal and a marvelous card, Bonnie! I do love seeing them on a snowy day. They do stand out and are so pretty. Thanks for sharing this with us at Just Us Girls!
such a festive scene with your regal cardinal. I love that stenciled background xx

Gorgeous! I really love how you used the stencils in an unexpected way. I would love to see your Cardinal outside my window. Our Stellar's Jays are rather striking in a winter landscape. They look so much like a cardinal, but blue.
You've created such depth with your stenciling of the lovely greenery, Bonnie. The cardinal looks very happy. :) xx
So beautiful. Love the stencil, and stencilling.
This is gorgeous, Bonnie. The cardinal is lovely and your card came together beautifully. Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Four Seasons Challenge. May God bless your Christmas and New Year. Hugs.
You're a genius, Bonnie. You've already got cards ready for the next season a year in advance!!! It's an idea worth using. Unfortunately, I do everything at the last minute :-(
Your cardinal is really beautiful. When everything around is grey, such intense red spots really brighten up the landscape. And I understand why you like this stencil :-)
