Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
Tis the season for snow.
I hope we see some here in central NC.
This may be the only way I see snow this season.
I've die cut a rectangle and embossed a piece of blue cardstock.
To get a snowy look, I lightly dragged a white inkpad over the embossed trees.
Some chunky white embossing powder sprinkled on and heated from the back
created some snow.
The birches were added to the inside of the frame and the frame has been
popped up a bit on foam so I could add a piece of acetate and some snowy sequins.
The foam doesn't have a lot of depth so the shakers are kind of stuck, but that's okay.
It won't require extra postage to mail.

Beautiful. Happy New Year. x
Beautiful shaker card Bonnie! I love the shade of blue you used for this card...looks so perfect with the embossed trees and the snow! And the birch trees with the POP of color from the Cardinal look fabulous against that background too, and then to make it a shaker...win, win!! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Your card is lovely, Bonnie! I do love birch trees that little Cardinal looks so pretty perched there!
I was wishing you here to see the visitors we had to our River Birch... a group of more than 20 Cedar Waxwings!
=]
What a fabulous design Bonnie! Yep ... very 'snowy' looking! I've already seen snow and am sure I'll be seeing more over the next few months! I'll try to send some your way! LOL

Beautiful card Bonnie. LOVE the trees with the bit of snow on the soft gray blue background. It definitely is a winter wonderland, my friend. The birch trees are so fabulous in the background with the bright red cardinal. Adding the shaker bits makes this card even more special. Awesome design!! xx
Love this peaceful snowy scene yo'uve created, Bonnie! That pop of red from the cardinal is pretty!
What a fabulous card Bonnie and what a great idea to put the super birch trees behind the acetate lined rectangle and add the pretty blue shaker elements, and I love the red cardinal, also the soft white of the trees and snowflakes and the sprinkling of white heat embossed Frantage are great finishing touches. x
This is just GORGEOUS!!! So, so pretty!
I always love seeing a cardinal perched in a snowy tree, Bonnie. I love the soft color of the embossed frame.
Lovely card, Bonnie! My favourite colour combination of blue and white, and I always love a snowy scene.
Oh, so pretty and soft and gentle! Love the blue and the trees foreground and background, and the cardinal is the prettiest spot of color. I hope you get the snow you're wishing for... but not too much. I'd like some, too, for a little bit. Sophie has never seen snow. Happy new year, Bonnie!
What a stunner, Bonnie. The cardinal has found a place to land and enjoy the snow. That chunky embossing powder made wonderful snow against the soft look. Happiest New Year, sweet friend.
Super snowy scene shaker! Love the tone-on-tone design!
What a lovely wintry card. The pop of red is the perfect finishing touch xx
It's a perfect scene to drift away and dream of much more snow, the New Year and bliss -- love it, Bonnie!
Beautiful colours Bonnie, your little bird pops against the blue and white.
We have snow on the mountains but not in the city which is what I like :)
