I've been busy trying to clean out the valentine UFO box.
It's amazing how things collect in there!
I had three stamped, heat embossed and cut out hearts done in gray that
I was wondering what to do with. Just Us Girls #758 helped with that.
Here's the mood board that I was inspired by...
I zeroed in on the gray mittens and white cup of coffee as well as the red berries.
I stacked the hearts to add some depth, embossed a knitted looking background to
place the heart on and added a die cut berry branch.
It was pretty easy and only took me several years to complete!

Great interpretation of the mood board! Love the grey for a Valentine and the combination of embossed background, stamping on the heart, and the branch with the red berries (just enough red to say "Valentine's card").
Those colors are always a winner, and all the texture from the embossing folder is fabulous! The stamped heart with the red berries is simply beautiful.
You have a UFO box specifically for Valentines? You are so very organized, and look -- all three hearts used up on one fabulous card! It really is so beautiful in these soft colors with the knit EF in the background. I laughed at your comment about it taking you several years to complete. I can relate. I have cards that take years to finish too Bonnie, so no worries! And this one was definitely worth the wait...you were just waiting for the perfect challenge to come along!! Haha!!
