Winter Fun

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have a couple of cards using images from my UFO box.

I decided to put these images on oval cards and used some heavy
decorative paper for the base layer.

Unfortunately they barely made a dent in the UFOs.  And my NBUS stash has become
a mountain.  I'm going to have to find lots of time for creating this year.

Love both of your beautiful oval cards with the pretty papers. The colors and your lovely watercoloring on the flowers are perfect, as always. I know you will make lots of beautiful cards using your stash. Hugs.

Both images look fantastic on oval cards, Bonnie. I love the Brilliance branch and your Amaryllis is beautifully painted. Thanks for sharing a card with us at Just Us Girls.

These are beautiful! I particularly love the soft sponging on the first one and your paining again, just perfect on your second one. You are really on a roll there!

These are so beautiful Bonnie. The shape is gorgeous with these images. I especially love the first one with the soft images in the background. Amazing cards as always! xx

Two beautiful cards Bonnie and suit the oval shape perfectly. I love the heavily embossed background papers and the pretty oval white frames with some lovely snowflake stencilling on the first and just as is on the second, and then the two wonderfully coloured images with the leaves and berries and then the amaryllis on the second, and two lovely sentiments to finish...great to raid the bits box as these definitely deserve to be given their time to shine. x

Both of your cards are so pretty Bonnie and I love that you made them into shaped cards with the ovals! I think the first one with the berries and the stenciled background is my favorite, but the watercolored bloom is just beautiful too! YAY for using things from your UFO box and I don't mind you having a mountain of NBUS because that means I get to see more of your creativity!! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Oh, dear, your last statement made me laugh because we're so in the same boat, except I don't have such beautiful things in my UFO drawer. I do love when you use your calendar images on cards. And, look, you used some of your patterned paper, too! I look forward to a new year of crafty inspiration here, and I'll try not to buy everything you use, tee hee!

Love these! I've never made oval cards before - what a great idea! Love the combination of the berry branch and the snowflakes on the first one. Great use of dp on both of them.
