Love and Laughter

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Another card done with leftovers from my last class.

The card my friends did had red flowers on vanilla.

I had a piece of die cut background I'd tried in white and decided against
using it.  So I did a little bit of ink blending with ink left on a blending brush
and added the die cut to it.

I had in mind to use this as an anniversary card for my brother and SIL and
my SIL is a blue gal.  So I went with blue flowers.

I love that my Valentine Class yields anniversary cards too.

Diane and Darlene have a new challenge!  These ladies are amazing!
This time they challenge us to use our neglected stuff.
The die cut in the background has been hanging around since 2021. I may have
used it once or twice.  I'm glad I kept it around though.

Challenges:
Word Power - Make the sentiment the main focal point of the card
The Neglected Stuff - Using stuff we've had an not used for awhile.

Here's a picture of the card my friends did..

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Special Wishes (PB)
Ink:   Versafine Onyx Black, Marina Mist
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, Old Olive, Soft Sky
Other:  Potted Succulents die (SU), Double Stitched Oval die (MFT), Potpourri Flower Set (PS), Leafy Sprig die (PS), Prills

Enjoy!

Bonnie, I don't think I've seen this die before and I'm so glad be introduced to it - what a beauty! I think your SIL will be doubly pleased that you made them such a pretty card and used her favorite blue! A wonderful anniversary card and a fantastic class project!

This is just the inspiration I needed, Bonnie. I have that sentiment stamp and never thought of it for an anniversary card. The soft inking behind the die cut background looks wonderful with your SIL's favorite color of flowers.

Beautiful! I love the soft blue behind the die cut and then the deeper blue of the flowers. Great layout too.
