Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It was a busy weekend with classes and this card is a spinoff from
a card we did for the classes.
Some of the leftover leaves made me think of dear friend Michele's sketch at
Freshly Made Sketches.
Here's her sketch...
For the leaves, I had wet a piece of watercolor paper and dropped re-inker into
the water, moving it around a bit with the waterbrush. I dried between colors and left
space for other colors. One piece ended up too light and the other too dark so it
balanced the leaves out.
Here's the card for class.
It used a different embossing folder and the corner was folded instead of torn.
There were fewer leaves too, including one that was "invisible" and needed
a closer look to find it!
I wish you all could have come and stamped with me!

Your posts usually start me singing. Flash Bang, the minute I saw your post I started singing - "the autumn leaves drift by my window, the autumn leaves of red and gold."
Your creation truly is a winner. Such calming colors especially pared with chocolate brown. In all honesty, we should give thanks all year long. Your card could be used in many different ways such as "Just
a Note" cards or male birthday cards.

I wish I could have come and stamped with you too, Bonnie. It's been too long. The divided panel is a wonderful way to add more interest and the leaves definitely have all the Fall colors.
Beautiful cards Bonnie and I wish I could have come and stamped with you too! What a perfect card for the 1st day of Fall too...I'm loving all the leaves (die cut and embossed!)! Also a great take on Michele's sketch...LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful cards, both in class and out! The sketch worked perfectly, and your leaves are definitely showing their Fall age. The folded corner of your class card is a great touch! Boy, do I wish we could all come visit -- together, but alas your house might be a bit too full!
I wish I could have too. Looks like you had fun. Both cards are really lovely and what a great interpretation of the sketch xx
Count me in, too, Bonnie! I'm thrilled that some of your wonderful 'leftovers' made it onto our Sketch! I love the two-tone diagonal panel but the folded corner on your class card might just make it onto my next Sketch!
Thanks for always inspiring me, my friend - and for sending those lovely leaves to FMS!

Beautiful cards! Wish I could stamp with you but I'm too far away. :-)
What pretty autumn leaves you've created. Bonnie and they work perfectly for Michele's sketch! I like your folded corner on your class cards... need to remember that! Sure would like to come stamp with you too!
I wish I could have came and stamped with you also. Two lovely cards with those colorful leaves. The cascading leaves is perfect for Michele's sketch.
Two fabulous Autumn cards Bonnie and the background embossed leaves looks so pretty using a different leafy EF on each, and the design of the abundant leaves along the white edge on the first, and the fold back piece on the second with two leaves similar to the first card, and one open designed die cut one added in which works well..a lovely sentiment on each to finish too. x
Two beautiful Fall cards, Bonnie:-) Thank you so much for sharing, dear friend:-) Love and Hugs, Nancy
Beautiful colours in your leaves, Bonnie! A perfect autumn card with a great layout.

Beautiful cards, Bonnie. The two of them are so elegant and the colors are just wonderful. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week.
The leaves are all beautiful. I especially love the folded corner and it's been on my to-do list. Your beautiful leaves are perfect for Michele's sketch. I wish I could come stamp with you, too.
Amazing card made with leftovers?? The colors are gorgeous and I love how you fashioned them for the sketch! Congrats on your Princess status!
Super colors used for the leaves and they cascade wonderuflly.
Your Autumn leaves are beautiful Bonnie. Love the variety of colours. Such a beautiful design. I do love that folded corner version you made with your class. xx
