Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
The leaves are beginning to change, but so far no bright colors around here.
But the leaves are getting bright on my cards!
I used my favorite leaf die to cut from watercolor paper and added re-inker
to wet leaves for brilliant color.
The circle fell out of my Infinity Circle pouch a while ago and it was waiting to
find a place on a card. Freshly Made Sketches took care of that.
Since the circle was cut from the cover of a mixed media tablet (the backside) and
has a bit of texture, I cut some more for the background and top panel.
I used a new leaf stamp to lightly stamp leaves on that layer, tore it on each
end and mounted it over a snippet of brown cardstock.

My Maple tree's leaves are changing quite quickly now, Bonnie! Though they are not quite as lovely as your red one, I do enjoy checking on it every morning!
I am very grateful for you - and love your take on Amy's sketch. Thanks for playing!

No bright colors here either, but seeing your bright, lovely leaves is enough for me! Just wonderful!
Our maple leaves up here are already as brightly red as on your beautiful card. I love all the added texture! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Lovely cards, I adore the leaves and bright colors! Speaking of, that's one thing I miss due to living where I do -- leaves go from green to brown here, not much color locally so a quick ride the mountains around us does take care of that yearning, plus I don't have to rake them!
Your bright leaves ae so pretty. Your background is very creative with the use of the cover of the mixed media table. Love how you lightly stamped the leaves on the center panel and tore the ends to fit over the snippets of brown. A lovely card and perfect take on the sketch.
Beautiful leaves on the circle and the background stamped leafy layer looks great torn at each end and added to a dark brown mat, and a lovely sentiment to finish Bonnie. x
We don't get much color here on the coast, maybe some yellow. One year the weather was just right to turn our maple tree to a brilliant display. That rarely happens. A girl can dream, and I can admire all the beautiful cards such as yours! I like how you made torn edges for the sketch, and the stamped leaves are a nice background for the center panel.
