Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I didn't get into the postage stamp craze. I would have liked to but
I had just bought the Greetery Curio dies and couldn't justify it.
But my friend Nance got the postage stamp dies and stencils and was
nice enough to bring them to a couple of our playdates.
She had an extra gift set of these little poinsettias and shared them with me.
That was a year ago or two?
They got set aside and I found them last week. They were a perfect fit for
Narelle's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
It's pretty self explanatory. I used Encore gold for the centers and dots and
heat embossed with gold powder so they have some shine. The sentiment
is gold embossed too.

So pretty. Love the poinsettia postage set and it is perfect for Narelle's sketch and you got another Christmas card done.
Poinsettia stamps? Oh, yes, Bonnie they get my stamp of approval! What I love about that set is that one can make them any color you want! Such a beautiful way to send season's greetings and to put Narelle's sketch to use! Thanks so much for playing cards with us!

I love this card Bonnie -- red and green always looks good especially at Christmas. I also appreciate and really like the simplicity of the design. Your snowman brought a big smile to my face.
Sandy xx
Your tiny poinsettia are darling! Love the red, gold and beauty -- they pack a perfect punch of everything Christmas
I didn't get on the postage bandwagon either, Bonnie, mainly because everyone was and I like to be different. But I would use someone else's to make a few cards like you did. Those poinsettias are so dainty and lovely and cut with the postage are perfect for the sketch. I also love your little snowman and trees as props.
I feel a CASE coming on Bonnie...this card is CAS and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! And I have the stencils and dies because I was one of those who did jump on the bandwagon! What can I say...I'm weak!! If you ever want to borrow any of the stencils, please just holler...I would be happy to lend them out for awhile! But anyway, your card is so pretty and worked perfectly for the sketch!! Hugs. :0)
I love the postage dies cut apart like this, looking so much like real postage stamps! These would look so pretty on an envelope. You've made them very elegant with the gold. There are certain things I never got started with because my space is too limited for yet another obsession. I sure do enjoy looking, though!
I love the sweet little poinsettia image added onto the postage stamps Bonnie and the Subtle EF used on the background and also the gold stamped and die cut sentiment are great finishing touches on this really pretty card. x
Lovely Christmas card using the postage stamps, Bonnie! Aren't stamping friends the best??!! xx
We're so happy you got on the postage stamp bandwagon, Bonnie! And better yet if it's borrowed! The poinsettias look right at home on your card and you used Narelle's sketch perfectly! Always a pleasure to see you in the FMS gallery!
