More Petals

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

When I posted the other card made with this set, I mentioned the tip Michele
gave me.  It was actually a link to a YouTube video that Therese did.
You can watch her video here.

The flowers were stenciled on mixed media paper then die cut.  By using mixed
media paper, I could blend the colors a bit with a damp waterbrush.

Challenges:
Just Us Girls #829 - ATG using a stencil
Seize the Birthday - ATG Birthday

Card Recipe
Stamps:
Ink:  Mustard Seed, Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness (DI)
Paper:  Mixed Media (Strathmore), Neenah Solar White, Pink Pirouette
Other:  Petal Perfection stencils & die (PFS), Sparkling Diamonds Cover Plate (PFS), Essential Modern Labels die (SB), Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate (PFS), Gold Foil

Enjoy!

Your flowers are beautiful Bonnie. Love your coloring on them and your lovely background. Thanks for sharing the video link and the tip about the mixed media paper.

I'm having my daughter bring up my oval dies so I can use them as you did, Bonnie. They make the beautiful stenciled flowers stand out against a great embossed background. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.

Love those warm coloured flowers and the way you added a bit of colour to the background of the flowers and to the cover plate.
