At the Seashore

One of my birthday presents was a die set of shore birds.
(Thanks M. I love them.)

I put a few drops of re-inkers in my palette tray and added watered down
drops of color to wet Mixed Media paper to create the scene.

The little shore birds were die cut from snippets of mixed media paper,
and touched up with a bit more of the color.

I doodled with a white gel pen to add "foam" to the waves.

Bonnie this is wonderful - you could have put all sorts of things along the bottom - the ocean and sky are what captured my heart. I love to see these little birds walking along the beach - their little legs go 100mph. Beautifully done Bonnie!!

Wow, Bonnie, what a great looking card and perfect for both SSS challenges. You make it look easy but I'm a-thinking, it takes a skill and know-how big time...smiles. Those shore birds top it all off...they are adorable.

I love this watery seaside scene you have created Bonnie and the white pen works well to emphasise the waves and the sandy coloured card base complements it perfectly. The die cut birds add lovely dimension too. x
