No crafting here but I'm hoping to get a few cards posted.
This was made from an image done at the retreat.
I used Versamark through a stencil, sprinkled with heat and stick powder
and heated it up. Then I dry brushed some purple Pearl ex over the flowers and bud,
and gold Pearl ex over the stems.
I think I missed some of the center area of the flower because it was
pretty blank there, so I swiped some Distress ink on my palette
and added some watercolor to the flower.
I did a wet on wet wash around everything and got a few splatters too.
For a little extra somethin' I added a few score lines.
I'm going to join in at
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Fun technique and such a unique and fabulous effect. Good idea to use the distress ink in the centre x
This turned out BEAUTIFUL Bonnie and looks SO artsy!! Love the embossed lines behind the flower panel too! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)
Love the artsy effect with the stencil technique and such beautiful colours Bonnie :)
Thank you Bonnie for sharing your pretty stenciled and textured Pearl-Ex flower card. So pleased you joined us at CAS Stencil Pearl-Ex and STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge. Hugs...Nancy
Wow, this card looks so artsy and creative. Love the colors and how the image is interestingly off-center (impressive to a very symmetrical person like me(!)...and the scored lines that just set it all off.
Bonnie, would you believe me if I told you I'm even more challenged by this Perfect Pearl challenge than even the blue??? lol
Your card is a beautiful example of how to get it DONE!

Beautiful use of the Pearl Ex - love the sparkle and texture it gives. I'm sorry I missed that part of the retreat - must get Loll to give me private lesson! Love your watercolour wash around the image.
Your Pearl-Ex stenciling turned out beautifully Bonnie. Love the added touch of watercolouring the background and center of the flower. The score lines are also a great addition to add texture. Didn't we have fun??!! xx
You did an amazing job with your Pear-ex powders, Bonnie! I love your spring color palette and your watercolor wash on the background is just perfect! I'm so glad you joined us at the CAS Stencil challenge! Sounds like you girls had a great time at the retreat :)
Simply STUNNING. I love the loose watercolour effect of this whole panel and that touch of Pearl Ex richness just adds this totally awesome card. Definitely a card to celebrate with. The scoring add to it's elegance. xx
Wow, this is beautiful, unique and so interesting, Bonnie! I was wondering how you made the card. I love the combination of the Pearl Ex shine and the soft watercoloring! The horizontal score lines are a wonderful addition in terms of texture and design.
Hideko xx
WOW! Such an artistic project, Bonnie! Your flowers have a modernist character and look wonderful on a watercolor background.
Hugs,
BozenA
A pretty floral stenciling Bonnie! the heat and stick gives it a thicker texture I think which is always nice! So fun to see so many techniques for this challenge! xx
This is so pretty. The colours are beautiful together and I love the watercolouring in the background xx
