Did you guess that this is for Darnell's Twofer Challenge?
One of my twofers
A card to brighten someone's day. This on it's way to a friend that
just had knee surgery.
I die cut this sunflower in frame twice and used one as a stencil to
sponge ink through with sponge daubers.
I cut the sponged piece to the size of the frame, stamped
a sentiment and glued the sunflower frame on top.
I hope Debbie finds it cheerful
I'm thinking that this one would work for a guy.
Both bees were stamped with Archival ink and heat embossed with
black powder. The yellow stripes were done with a Copic Marker.
The Twofer Challenge is open until the 24th.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Two bee-utiful cards Bonnie! Your sunflower card is just lovely and will definitely cheer up your friend, and your 2nd card would most definitely work as a masculine card! Have a great weekend my friend! Hugs. :0)
You had me at BEES! Love both of these, I am going to have to play this week for sure!
Wow Bonnie - two beauties with bees!! Just love the sunflower with the bright stenciling on card one and the gorgeous layered hexagon on card two!!
Two fabulous bee cards, Bonnie. My favourite is the first one, I love the Sunflower die cut. xx
Hi Bonnie. Both of these cards are bee-autiful! That sunflower is incredible, and I love that you've sponged that rich yellowy ink through the petals. That bee is incredible, btw! I think your friend will appreciate this card very much! Your birthday card is clever, too - the honeycomb pattern inside the large hexie was a brilliant idea!! It will work well for a fella, too! Fabulous bee cards! Thanks so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge!! Bev
Both card are BEEautiful :D The yellow compliments so well that busy bee and the hexagon theme on the second is incredibly CAS. I love those yellow specs to compliment the stripes. What a great TWOfer! xx
Oh, Bonnie, your sunflower card is kinda spectacular! Looks great in the thumbnail at Twofer, but up close -- wow! And then you have the most perfectly CAS birthday bee which, yes, would make a good guy card, but also for gals. I love it! Your bee is fabulous. I don't know why it actually looks fuzzy, but it does. Thanks bunches for playing along with us at Twofer!
I love those bee cards Bonnie, that sunflower is soooo pretty and great honeycomb background on the second
What a great plump bee that is, Bonnie! He looks fabulous adorned to your sunflower on the first card and to your hexagon on your second card! Your sponged coloring through the sunflower stencil is perfection and I love that it matches the cheerful yellow card base! I also love the crisp black and white color of your birthday card and how you added just a touch of color and interest in the background! I agree it could be for any age and any gender. Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #17! Hugs, Darnell
OH! FABULOUS and beautiful cards.

Such different looks with the same bees stamp -- love the bright, happy yellow on the first card and the creative variation of the look on the second showing off those always special "Bonnie touches". Hope you have a sweet "honey" of a day!
the bees are adorable, Bonnie! I'm thinking there's no need to dig for mine... these are sweeter than honey on a biscuit! LOve that big daisy, and yes, I think your friend will be cheered by it, too!

What a great idea to use the first die cut as a stencil! These cards are beautiful, Bonnie.
Wow..Two Gorgeous cards, Bonnie. I LOVE your die cut sunflower and how clever to use a 2nd die cut sunflower as a stencil. Your bright yellows and wonderful bee will certainly brighten your girlfriends day.
Love the textures and CAS design for your 2nd birthday day card too. Agree, great for a guy card. Hugs...Nancy
Just wonderful cards, Bonnie. Love 'em.
Both your cards are so cheerful and so fun, Bonnie! I almost that your bee was a die cut. These are what I'd call happy cards! They surely will bring a smile to the recipient.
Such striking cards Bonnie. Love the designs and the bee is fabulous on both of your stunning cards x. Yes the second card would be great as a masculine card x.
A great entrance to the challenge of Twofer. Both cards are great. Both the first sunflower and the second, with a beautiful honey paste. This bumblebee is so cute !!

Two adorable bee cards Bonnie. Love your sweet bee ... so pretty with those gorgeous wings. Love him with your layered sunflower. What a fabulous die and adding the colour through your first layer is such a great idea and then adding the white frame on top. Your second card is aweseome with the dry embossed honeycomb with splatters of honey in the background. :) Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
Your bee cards are terrific, Bonnie. I love that big sunflower and it looks like the bee does too.
