Simply In Paris

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by.

It was a rainy day here today.  We took a short trip, but unfortunately
not to Paris.

This stamp was a gift from a dear friend.

I've chosen to go very simple and stamped in grays and black,
adding just a hint of pale blue.

I'm entering at Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Anything Goes...Optional 'Sparkle & Shine'

I went with Anything Goes.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Beautiful stamp Bonnie! I love how you used it and without a sentiment it would be perfect for so many occasions. I love the soft muted colors.

Unfortunately, I'll never be able to say "we'll always have Paris!" But OH is this a fabulous scene to dream by … c'est magnifique, Bonnie!

Very pretty stamp and a beautiful card Bonnie.
This reminds me.....the other day my daughter asked her youngest (13) what she wanted for Christmas. Her reply was to go to Paris. Everyone had a nice laugh with that! Maybe someday but not this year.

Wow - you really captured the feeling of a dreary rainy day (those of us who live in Vancouver know it well!)! Fabulous muted colours!

Wow, Bonnie, you should frame this and put it on your mantle... and such a nice change from looking at Christmas cards.

A wonderful stamp, beautifully used Bonnie - the weather there looks a bit like it is here in New Zealand at the moment - wet! :)

Your dreary, rainy sky is perfect. The shadows even look dreary. I hope you enjoyed your trip even if it wasn't Paris.

You have perfectly rendered the climate of a wet city. It's like this huge square reflects the silhouettes of people. It `s genius!

This looks like something that hangs in the Louvre, Bonnie.

Your used this amazing stamp perfectly Bonnie! The colours are just right for a rainy, dreary day in Paris. Even though the weather isn't the best, the sights are still so incredible. Gorgeous card, my friend! xx
