More Stencil Outlining for CAS Mix Up Reminder

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

There's still time to join in at CAS Mix Up.

Nancy is hosting the challenge this month.

This was such a quick and easy card!

I sponged ink through a stencil onto mixed media paper and
using a damp waterbrush, I moved the color around.

When it was dry, I outlined the design with a Copic Multiliner.

For the background I did some partial dry embossing.

Stamped a sentiment and it was done.

Our Guest Designer, Greta, and our fabulous Design Team
have wonderful inspiration for you.  Check it out.
Then I hope you'll pull out a stencil and join us at

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

This is a great card, I love how you have let the red bleed a bit and then highlighted the red with the outlining and that little bit of dry embossing on the background is just genius xx

Love the bleeding of the colours. The black matting pairs beautifully with the outlining too. And then there's that special touch of dry embossing behind, Beautiful!!

This is a lovely card Bonnie! I love the embossing going through the card base. Your flower is so pretty and I love the faded green color at the bottom with the leaves and the pink in the flower. I love fun and easy cards! Hugs, Brenda

The outlining is pretty self-explanatory, Bonnie - and beautiful btw! But! about that 'partial dry embossing'? How'd you do that?? Come over and show me, will you please?

Very pretty, and quite unique to have that partial embossing!

That worked out so well - love the way you moved the ink around with the water brush. The outlining is just right, not too heavy. And the bit of dry embossing adds so much interest to the card.

Love how you partially stenciled your watercolored rose images and then traced around your rose and leaves. Adding the dry embossed bit of background gave added texture for more interest to your CAS Mixed Media design. TFS Bonnie. Stay safe and Creative. Love and Hugs..Nancy

How fun we used the same stencil for 2 very different cards! Love that you singled out one bloom--need to try that! The strip of dry embossing is a great element for this wonderful card, Bonnie!
