Pink Christmas

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by.

I have two cards to show you today.

 First up....

I've used an alcohol ink background and this sweet Poppystamps die cut from
white Glimmer Paper.

I cut the corner with the larger snowflake a second time and fit it
into the top corner.

The larger frame was cut with the Memory Box Delicate Pine Frame.

My second card uses a snippet of plaid decorative paper that
came in a kit.  I love this plaid!

I used a pine border for the ornament to hang from and laid the die cut piece
on a piece of Neenah as I sponged it to get a bit of a Print Making background.

Challenges:
ABC Christmas - U  (Up in the Air - Snowflakes in the air)
Christmas Kickstart #40 - Pink Christmas
Jingle Belles - Pink Christmas (Stephanie & Lauren will each donate $2.00 to Breast Cancer Reasearch for each entry.)
Memory Box Outside the Box - Plaid
Poppystamps - Think Pink

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Two gorgeous cards, Bonnie! I love that you've had success with the glimmer card - I've been fighting a loosing battle with mine for a couple of days. No matter how much shim I put into my Cuttlebug I can't get a good 'cut'. Possibly time for an upgrade. Thanks for playing at Christmas Kickstart again, it's always great to have you here, Jo x

Oooh, pretty pink with glittery snowflakes! I always love a pink Christmas card and make at least one every year. You sure showed the sparkle nicely in your photo. I love everything about your second card, too. The plaid and the background. Seriously beautiful background. I absolutely have to try that!

That AI background is terrific Bonnie and the white glimmer paper used for the double frame with the snowflakes in the centre rectangle works beautifully, and the second is so pretty with the pine border for the wonderful plaid bauble to hang from, and love the 'joy' die cut over the top, and such a pretty background using the print making technique and all enclose in that lovely stitched rectangular frame. x

Two amazing Christmas cards Bonnie! LOVE the pink AI background for your pretty and sparkly framed snowflakes. Adding an extra snowflake at the top really balances the design. The print made from sponging your evergreen sprig makes the most beautiful and soft background. That plaid paper is sweet and makes a beautiful ornament. Great work, my friend! xx
