Wild Vines

Hi there.  I'm glad you stopped by.

Today I have a Twofer plus one. all done with a stamp that
a dear friend sent me for my birthday.
I've been having a lot of fun with it!

My Twofer using the same stamp for two different designs and two different occasions
(an encouragement card and a Halloween card).

First up stamped on a background that I did using this technique.

You can see where I got an ugly streak on the background.  I stamped the vine
over the streak and heat embossed then die cut and added the sentiment.
I thought this was a good sentiment for these times and for
ugly streaks in a background!

For my twofer...

My friend Nance came for a visit a week or so ago and I cut this
spider web frame from one of the dies she brought.

These vines worked well on a Magicals background from my stash.
They make me think of running into those spider webs hanging
from the trees in the Fall.

It's a good Halloween card for someone who thinks spiders are
really creepy!

And a threefer...

Lots of shine on this as it has a lot of copper embossing.

My sweet friend also sent me this awesome sentiment stamp.
More good words to live by.

If you made it to the end, we'll add perseverance to that list!

What fabulous and creative use of the 'vine' stamp Bonnie.
Your first card looks amazing with great techniques and you've turned the streak into a beautiful card Bonnie x.
What a fun Halloween card. The magical background is perfect for that fabulous die cut web and the vines are such a fun and 'spooky' idea....I love it! x.
The copper embossing on your third glorious card looks eye catching and beautiful Bonnie and I like how you used the vines to peep out from that wonderful sentiment x.

You are so creative, Bonnie. Using the vine three ways is awesome. Love that first card and the sentiment. The Halloween card is fantastic and the vine looks spooky on that card and so lovely on the other cards. Gorgeous copper with a wonderful sentiment.

Oh, wow, three fabulous cards and very creative use of the squiggly foliage for your Twofer. It looks fantastic in your Halloween card. Amazing how something so pretty can turn so creepy with a little creativity. I'm super happy to see your card in our Two Old Bats Halloween gallery!

WOW!!! What awesome cards created from the same vine stamp that I would have thought of only using for "pretty" cards!! Your 1st card is so pretty and I didn't even know the darker streak was an oops, but just thought it was a shadow from the vine! The Halloween card is FABULOUS as is your 3rd card...you definitely used this stamp to it's full potential Bonnie!! Hugs. :0)

3 incredible designs! You must create and design at the speed of light! I'd have never thought of these cards with that stamp and how gorgeous they are. What's really amazing is they are so totally different. And once again, you post and I have an incredible desire to do some retail therapy!

Such a creative and fun post, Bonnie! I love each one of your three cards! The dark mark lends itself to be the shadow for your vine on your first card, and the squigliness of the vine works perfectly for your creepy spiders. Great sentiment in copper, where the vines are now the flourish in the background. Wow! Your backgrounds enhance each one beautifully! Thanks for joining in the fun with the Twofer Card Challenge!

Sometimes I have so many good words to live by that I just fall on the couch in a heap and read a good book! All of your cards are winners but I must admit, your Halloween cards needs to go into a Hall of Fame!

Three beautiful cards, Bonnie, and you've made lemonade with the lemon on card #2 -- congrats on the save :o)

Gosh, you've made that one vine image look so different on each card, Bonnie! It's soft and dreamy against the stencilling (I thought the streak was there to highlight it!) ... spooky and eerie with the spiders, web and that atmospheric magicals background ... and rich and shimmery with the centrepiece sentiment on your bonus threefer! Fabulous ... all three! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

Wonderful inspiration for a lovely vine stamp, Bon! Your Threefer are all knockouts and show your amazing range with both backgrounds and dies! I love them all! I didn't even notice the streak because I love the pink and yellow together. That spider web die is perfect (ly creepy) with your schparkly Magicals background. And I love that inspiration sediment with the pastel background, the vines peeping out, and all that delicious copper! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Keep safe and well! Hugs, Dikku ... oops, Dolly

STUNNING cards made with your Lavinia vine stamp Bonnie! The backgrounds of the first two cards are so creative and beautiful. I have just spent an hour watching a few of Eileen's videos. The magical background is just the perfect look for that amazing spiderweb die-cut. What fun you and Nance must have had! Love the third with the amazing words so elegant with gold embossing. xx

So stunning three designs, Bonnie. I love all the cards and the use of this vine stamp is amazing. Each card has a different look, but it always looks perfect. The card with spiders is so funny, I didn't think I could like the Helloween card that much :-) There is no Helloween tradition in Poland, so I don't make these cards. But this card really convinces me!

Wonderful threefers, Bonnie! All three cards have a completely different look and even the same wild vines images look different. I especially love the Halloween card. The Magical background is perfect for the spooky sky and the vine silhouette has a witchy feel to it. The echoing VersaMark stamping on the card base is subtle but very effective.

Don't think of it as a 'streak,' think of it as intentionally placed shadowing for your vine! It's a very pretty card, and the sentiment is so perfect for so many of us in these uncertain days. Your Halloween car is spider-licious, if you like arachnids...me, not so much! But they look pretty darn amazing sitting on that vine, and on the web. Two cool backgrounds, too! Perfect Halloween card. Love the copper embossing on your threefer! The bit of vine peeking from the corners really draws the eye in toward your sentiment. Very pretty. Stay safe my friend. xo Bev
