Balloons for Twofer

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

T
his month's challenge is...

Balloons always make a fun birthday card so I went traditional on this one.

I've done some monochromatic stamping for the background and made a balloon
bouquet by die cutting and punching balloons from some alcohol inked backgrounds.

I went non-traditional with my Twofer...

By flipping the die cut balloon upside down, I made a Christmas tree ornament.

I know you have at least one balloon stamp, die or stencil in your stash.
Have fun with it and make two different designs for two different occasions and
stretch your card stash!

Check our the awesome inspiration from our Design Team and our
talented Guest Designer, Greta.

I hope to see you in the Twofer gallery!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

LOVE these! How clever to turn that balloon into an ornament. I just love the grunge background behind the balloons and the wonderful pine sprig and ornament in that ornate frame. I have a hunch I’ll be shopping again after seeing your fabulous cards.

Balloons and birthdays, Bonnie, they are a perfect combo! And your AI balloons are simply gorgeous! This would work so well for a teenaged boy, or anyone for that matter. It's a great card and I love it. Now as to your second card. All I can say is wow, wow, wow! The bulb is gorgeous, and it looks like you've caught just one bough and one bulb from your Christmas tree in a photo. And that frame...what a stunning frame!! Love this one! Awesome cards! Stay safe. Bev

The balloons on that "grunge" background really pop--well not literally or you would have saggy balloons. Love the colors. Turning the balloon into a Christmas ball is genius. It looks very elegant in that pretty frame.

The background on your cool birthday card is wonderfully graphic, Bonnie ... the finish of the alcohol inks gives the balloons so much depth ... and the streamers add a great sense of energy! Love that we both went with balloon baubles for our unconventional Christmas cards ... great minds! All that crisp, texture-y white space is gorgeous ... the green really pops against it ... and how festive is the silver shimmer and shine ... yum! Hugs, Anita :)
