The rain has stopped for a few days and it feels like Spring will come!
Memory Box is asking for PURPLE this month and I'm happy to comply.
I actually did the second card first, but realized that that particular die isn't
available anymore. So I came up with plan B.
This pretty corner die was cut from watercolor paper and watercolored with
Distress Inks. The background die is also from Memory Box.
It would make a perfect shaker card, but I didn't have any suitable colors of
shakers in my stash.
I did add some splatters and pearls.
I used the Print Making technique for this card by watercoloring the lavender
on a mixed media piece and turning the flowers over and pressing down so
some of the wet ink transferred to the background.
Inspired By Challenge is asking for a quote and this is one of my favorites.
It's from a company that has since gone out of business. Sorry.

These are both stunning! Love the purples that you used, and the diecut on the first one is amazing! And what a lovely quote on the second...perfect for our IB challenge! Your attention to detail is always stellar!
Two beautiful florals using these really pretty MB die Bonnie and I love the purple used on both. The die cut corner looks so elegant on the first and the purple ink coordinates perfectly for the sentiment, and then the lavender is lovely with the background print and love the sentiment too. Brilliant cards! x

Some day I'm coming to your house and have you teach me the print making technique Bonnie...you are a master at it and your 2nd card (or 1st) is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! LOVE the sentiment too! And your first card (or 2nd) is just as lovely...purple is such a gorgeous color and really makes me think Spring too! We got up to 43 degrees yesterday and the sun was shinning too, so it really felt like Spring, even though there's still a good foot or more of snow on the ground!! Hopefully it will all be gone soon!!! Hugs. :0)

Two gorgeous floral cards Bonnie, love them both and must remember the trick to ink your die cuts and then use them as a stamp...love this effect...have some die cut corners like this too which reminds me they could do with a little use... thanks for the lovely inspiration, hugs Robyn

Both beautiful purple perfect creations. The corner die works great for a trellis on your first card. I’m always a fan of your print making backgrounds and this one is no different.

Both of these cards are stunning Bonnie! I love the purple and the dark/light greens together. Your first card is so pretty with that cut out panel, I think it is beautiful/elegant just the way it is. Sometimes shaker cards are fun, but take away from the elegance of a card, this one is too elegant to be a shaker. Love the ink splatters though! Your second card is so beautiful with the technique you used, I so love that. The sentiment is beautiful and so true! A good one to have in the stamping stash! Hugs, Brenda

I LOVE them, Bonnie! Both the watrecolored flowers and the print-making ones are so pretty and delicate! The corner dies make a pretty trellis in the background (card 1), and the wispy shadows and the wonderful sentiment are in the perfect spot of the front panel (card 2).

I have that same die and think I've used it once and now it discontinued. Wonderful - I think purple is now my favorite color! The second card is my very favorite - I am really liking the cards I see made with this technique and I have yet to try it. Oh woe is me!!
