Memory Box Small Antilles Flowers

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I've used this pretty Memory Box Die again.

This time I popped it on a piece of embossing and framed it.

It's a softer lilac color but the camera says differently.

and...

I colored it again with DOX inks and slipped it into an egg shaped aperture in
honor of Easter.

The background for the egg is a mop up piece from Gansai Watercolor.  The
script was done by dipping the stamp in the wet color and stamping on
the mop up.

The purple looks so dark and beautiful on my monitor and I love that color on the flowers. The MB Gracious Leaves e/f is lovely. Using the egg as a background for the flower is awesome. What a great idea for an Easter card.

Both cards are just gorgeous in those wonderful Easter colors! I never thought to dip a script stamp in the soupy mess on the mat. That was brilliant and what a great effect. Love that background as well as the die cut on the embossed card stock. As always, I just love your layout!

Two stunning cards Bonnie and I especially love the first with that beautiful 3D embossing in the background with the pretty purple coloured flowers and love the purple frame with a stitched one over the top...so elegant! The second with the more pretty flowers and the egg shaped aperture cut and embossed is terrific too, and the mop up inky background with the inky script looks great. x

The flowers are beautiful, Bonnie, but it's your choice of embossing folders that really make your cards stand out.

Beautiful composition. The addition of an embossed background made the card more beautiful. I also love the color combination of flowers and the frame. Lovely first card. The second card is just as beautiful, I love the fabulously colorful background tinged with die printing technique. You are a true master at this technique, Bonnie

Both cards are fabulous, Bonnie! The lilac flowers are so pretty! The embossing in the background, and the well-thought-out frame showcase the lovely flowers of the first card.
The mop-up technique worked so well for the background of the second card. Love the shade of lilac! The egg-shaped window is wonderful for the Easter. Happy Easter, my dear friend!
