Prancing Reindeer

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have another Christmas card to share today.
I'm so glad my Christmas stash is growing!

I found this guy hanging out in my Christmas UFO box.

He was cut from corrugated cardboard but I chose the smooth side to show.
The corrugation pops him up a bit.

The background was stamped with a Christmas background stamp,
splattered with red ink and die cut with a Deckled Edge die.

I sponged around the edges of the die cut and a bit on the deer too.

I love the kraft, red and white color combination and
my dear friend Loll chose this as the challenge at

I love this color combo so much that I did another.

How's your Christmas stash coming along?

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

Two fantastic cards Bonnie using this great kraft, red and white combination. I love the large deer with the stamped background and then some embossed snowflakes behind that and love the red wool tied like a scarf around his neck, and the sweet snowy cabin in that coordinating light brown ink, and love the pine branches embossed on the background and the kraft and red layered on to white card which finishes it perfectly. x

That reindeer is quite regal. I love that you turned him around. Great subtle background layering making him the king of the show. That log cabin is inviting, beautiful natural tones for both beautiful cards. My Xmas stash hardly has a dent it it LOL xxx

Beautiful cards, Bonnie, and I agree that the color combo is just fabulous. As for my Christmas stash? Well I'd just be happy to get back into my craft room... Now that we are finished (at least for now) helping Daughter #3 work on her house, Hubbs has decided it's time to do some more projects on ours...

That's a nice big stag you got there Bonnie and to think he was hanging out inn your UFO box! He is definitely perfect for the challenge, love how you have decided to show him off on this card. That deckled edge mat is so cool looking and of course I am loving the snowy embossed background. You second card is beautiful as well, love that scene. Who wouldn't want to be snuggled up in a cabin in a snow storm with a nice crackling fire going?! Hugs, Brenda

Two beautiful cards using kraft, red and white, Bonnie. Your reindeer is beautiful and well named. He definitely looks like he's prancing! I think he's feeling very special with his red scarf! Love the background behind him with subtle word stamping, torn edges and shading. Love the peek of red that shows around the edges. And of course, love that snowy background made from the amazing falling snow embossing folder! :)

Your second card is such a peaceful scene with the log cabin sitting in the snowy meadow. I would like to stay there for a day, with a warm fire, hot coholate and some soothing music. Ahhhhh! xx
