Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I love tulips and every Spring I have to get out at least one
of my tulip stamps.
This year it's the Technique Tuesday tulips.
In red and colored with Sharpies.
In yellow for my card class. Stamped and colored with Distress Markers.
and
I stamped then die cut the hemstitch frame and there was a little ink on the
cutting pad from the previous cutting. I ended up with a light impression that just
didn't look right, especially beyond the border. So I added some 2nd generation stamping
to make it look intentional and die cut again with the Elegant Rectangles die.
Then I added some texture to both the frame and the stamped image and didn't
like the texture on the tulips. So I put the image on the outside of the embossing
folder and ran it through again and got most of the texture out.
I had to work for this one!

Wow ...what a vibrant effect with the sharpies on card number one.....Delicate and beautiful with the markers on card number two and what a fabulous effect, great save and great texture on card number three.
Three striking designs Bonnie and three beautiful Spring cards. I love tulips and I am loving these cards x.
Three beautiful cards Bonnie, lovely colouring and showcasing of a lovely stamp.I like the contrast of the red and white and the embossing in the first one and the yellow and framing in the other two to pick out the yellow...super. xx
They are all absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bonnie and great save on the 3rd card! Your 1st card amazes me that you got all that lovely color and shading using sharpies...I am totally impressed!! Hugs. :0)
The red sharpie is so bold and colorful. I like the softness of the yellow too and a lot of work on the third card, but it is lovely too.
Beautiful cards Bonnie.
I love Technique Tuesday and used to get their stamps on a subscription - until I was charged double what the stamp and die cos me in import tax. I never understood why the tax here was calculated monthly and not at a flat rate. Frustrating and very annoying! x
They are all STUNNING! Such a gorgeous image and you've used them in three marvelous way!
Now I will be looking for tulips when I walk. Beautiful Cards. The tulips are just perfect. Love them.
Hugs,
Jim
Three really beautiful and elegant tulip cards Bonnie and love the wonderful bright red ones with a pretty frame and embossed background, then the next two in that super yellow with that fantastic ornate hemstitch design on the mat, and the last using the same frame as the first and it looks great although it sounds as though it went through a few changes but you finished up with a brilliant card. x
Beautiful tulips Bonnie.
I've never tried coloring with sharpies- the red is so vibrant and love the softness of the yellow.
Gorgeous gorgeous tulips Bonnie! Terrific cards
You've tip-toed into my Monday morning so beautifully, Bonnie! Love tulips in any, and every color! These are gorgeous!
This last one with the 'unwanted' texture looks like it might have been stamped on canvas - fabulous!

Three beautiful tulip cards. Love your coloring and embossing on each one. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.
Wow, gorgeous tulips, and I can't believe you colored the red ones with Sharpies! The yellow are so soft and pretty. The last card with the second generation stamping almost looks like print making. All are breathtaking, Bonnie!
WOW! So many beautiful cards, and all thanks to this beautiful stamp. I especially love the first card, this white fleck makes the image so light and dreamy
xx
Three beautiful cards, Bonnie! Oh my goodness the red tulips are striking against the crisp white. So happy to see them in our IB gallery!
WOW Bonnie! These are incredible. Your red one is superb! I've never seen anyone color that well with sharpies but you achieved such a brilliant, rich red! Love the yellow ones too as well as your wonderful layouts!
Three beauties, Bonnie! They're all wonderful, and beautifully colored. As for flattening out your embossing? Look at you all inventive and everything :o)
Love them all, Bonnie (and I love tulips too - I always treat myself to a few bouquets of them every spring). I think my favourite is the second one - the hemstitch border with the yellow panel showing through is so perfect for framing them. But I also love the second generation stamping on the third one - creates such a great subtle background.
Before I could go and comment on these beautiful Tulips, you went and posted two more cards. As much as I love the red with the basket weave background, you just cannot beat the yellow card! Beautifully designed, simple and well colored -- I like the fact that the sentiment is there buy your eye is drawn to the tulips.

Three beautiful crafted cards Bonnie! thank you for joining us!
These are beautiful! So amazed how the Sharpie colouring is so bold and vibrant! And great save on the last one... wouldn’t have known there was a problem.
Again with the wonderful no-line coloring. All of your tulips and the card designs are terrific, Bonnie.
Lots and lots of tulips! They all have different looks but all so beautiful! Glad you played with us at Krafty Chicks, my friend! Hugs!
Beautiful tulip cards, Bonnie! The flowers are fabulous, and your coloring of leaves is also fantastic! I love the creative textured framing and the 2nd generation stamped background!
