Christmas Wreath for Inspired By

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This week's Inspired By Challenge has a twist.
Michele is hosting and she's challenged each of us to ask a friend to join us.
I invited my dear friend Loll (Stamping with Loll) to join the challenge with me.

Here's my card Inspired By the Christmas photo.  After all, Christmas is
not that far off!

Here's the inspiration photo.

I was inspired by the wreath, the colors, the metal and the gingham.  I even got in
some of the paneling.

I was inspired by those shiny apples in the other picture too and decided to use the other
half of my wreath for a Twofer.  It's not for Fall though.  I need to get my Christmas card
stash filled up like that bucket of apples!

Here's that inspiration photo.

The wreath die is from my overfull NBUS box.  I die cut it three times from
watercolor paper and used Zigs and water to color it up.

When it was all dry, I layered it up with some strategically placed drops of glue and
added it to an embossed background.

The jingle bell is part of the die and I used a snippet of foil cardstock to cut it
and the joy from.  The berries are from Nuvo Crystal drops.

I hope you'll head over to Loll's blog and see the fantastic card she did.
It was so much fun crafting together even with miles between us.
Maybe we should do that more often?

My friends at Inspired By and their friends have some lovely inspiration to share with you.
Do check them out.

And I see there's a new Christmas Challenge in town!
Congratulations, Darlene and Diane on another fabulous challenge!

That is a fabulous take on the inspiration photo, Bonnie! Love the wreath set off the side and the addition of the gingham bow and the metal bell and sentiment. The second card is lovely too with the big red "merry" taking centre stage.

Wowie, so gorgeous! I had to go look up the wreath die. It's BIG, and that means you can do a lot of things with it. You have two utterly gorgeous cards, Bonnie! Thanks so much for sharing with us at the Peace on Earth challenge!

Oh Bonnie! Thanks so much for your darling twofer, and for inviting Loll to play, too! You girls are both so clever, and talented!
You've been inspired by the very best from both of our photos, my friend: the wreath, that darling black and white ribbon AND the wood grain! Of course I found the red of the apples, and the berries too from All the Peels!
I'm off to see what Loll made - hope she adds it to our gallery - and thanks for passing it along nearly across the entire US into Canada!!!

so very beautiful mf.
I'm so sorry I'm behind at commenting...I just can't seem to keep up with social media these day. I have 2 new little ones, one of them being a baby so 5 kids in total. My day is a bit longer too which doesn't help.
I hope you are well
xx Karen

I was just over to Loll's blog and was blown away, now I'm blown away once again with your cards Bonnie! I love how your mind went with both of the inspiration photo's, a stunning Christmas card AND fall card! I love how you cut the wreath in half and got two cards from it. I need to keep that tucked back in my mind. I will definitely have to case your cards one day! What a fun challenge and I love that you were to tag a friend to do the challenge with you. So fun and cool! Hugs, Brenda

One wreath, two fabulous Christmas cards. The bright green leaves add a lot of color and your berries are so perfect, Bonnie. It sounds like you've inspired a lot of people to get out that 'merry' die. I think I have one too.

Both are beautiful cards using your pretty NBUS wreath and hanging jingle bell Bonnie, and I love the Planks EF for the background and the pretty black and white gingham ribbon and silver die cut sentiment finishes it so well.
