Critters and Plaid

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have a couple of Christmas cards to share today.

First up is a couple of little critters from Penny Black that I've stamped and colored
with Copic Markers.

The image was a little too big for the die cut circle, so I cut around the end of
the scarf so it could hang out of the circle.

This is for the CAS Christmas challenge where Barb has chosen critters for the theme.

And a twofer....

A couple of weeks ago I went to play at my friend Nance's house.
She had some Paper Glaze from Picket Fence that she wanted me to try.
It is so creamy and has a lovely shine!

For this card I used a plaid stencil and the Mint Hydrangea glaze.

I've used this die cut spray colored with Copics and a beautiful bow that
a sweet friend sent me when I commented on how much I liked her bows.
(Needless to say I have this die on the way now. Thanks for the enabling Barb.)

I thought this was perfect for another entry into the Inspired By Challenge
for the second inspiration picture.  I was inspired by the soft green and
greenery with berries.

I love that little mouse scene, Bonnie. It wouldn't have looked right to cut the scarf off behind the circle. What a gorgeous color in that plaid. It looks great with the fancy sprig and I can see why you'd want that bow die.

LOVE those sweet critters, Bonnie! Made me smile when I saw your card. :) Love the idea of having the scarf to outside the circle border. And the sentiment is perfect for these adorable friends!

Your plaid is gorgeous with the soft green glaze. I have not heard of these glazes, so another thing for me to check out. :) Love the Christmas swag at the top. xx

Oh my, oh my! I feel all warm and fuzzy with the adorableness of the first, and inspired to go shopping for that bow and plaid stencil after seeing the second card. There does appear to be a special softness to the glaze. Sheesh, I'm awaiting an order as we speak and I already have another in the making!

I don't understand the wizardry you used to make the plaid, but I'm in love with it. That color is just beautiful and I love your die cut mistletoe, it just pops off that beautiful plaid. A gorgeous card indeed! Hugs, Brenda

The little mouse and bird are so sweet in the beautiful snowy scene, Bonnie! I wonder what they're talking about. :-) The red scarf off the edge of the circle frame is a wonderful touch!
The soothing mint plaid looks amazing with the holiday greenery. The red bow, berries, and sentiment pull everything together. I love both cards!
