Years ago I worked in a needle crafting store and we had a cross stitch pattern
with this quote on it. I always loved the quote but never actually used it.
I've been on the lookout for a stamp with the saying for a long time and
finally found one. Isn't the font beautiful?
The butterfly was stamped in black on some patterned paper, then splattered with some
peach ink by flicking the end of a marker against a piece of acetate.
I splattered a bit on the background too.
No die, but it was pretty easy to fussy cut that butterfly.
The colors are from the Color Hues Challenge #45

Nothing I ever splattered looked this good. Love the colors on that butterfly and you are SO right about the font and that sentiment. Gorgesous card, Bonnie, finished off beautifully with the subtle stamping in the background.

That is very stylish Bonnie and I love the look of the butterfly stamped on the peach toned paper and the soft meadow flowers stamped in the background and backed with the peach coloured card, and a strip across it too, also finished with that wonderful sentiment and a great font. x

You are right, that font is beautiful and so is the quote. The paper you chose to stamp the butterfly on is simply lovely and made the most authentic butterfly. The soft stamping completes this delightful card.
