Greetings

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

It's a busy time here.  The Christmas cards are in the mail, the decorations
are mostly up and I'm working frantically on calendars.  Needless to say, I'm not
making many Christmas cards these days, but here a a couple that a dear friend
helped to make.

This beautiful wreath is from a company that is no longer in business but my friend
has the stamp and die and shared some with me.

I colored this with my Altenew watercolor pans.  It was so much fun coloring
and I was even happy with the splatters.

She also sent me this embossed background.  I LOVE the cardstock it's embossed on.
There are tiny flecks of color and it's the warmest shade of kraft!
No splattering necessary!

I paired it with my Greetery Joy die and a pine sprig from the same company.

Of course I had to get this embossing folder for myself.
Thanks for the enabling, my friend.

I have never seen this wreath water colored more beautifully, Bonnie! Aren't those paints so vibrant? I'm just so sad that MFT no longer carries that natural paper.
Your Pepper berries are a beautiful backdrop for that JOY die cut and you've finished it off so sweetly with the pine!

WOW!! Two absolutely BEAUTIFUL cards Bonnie! I love that wreath and haven't used mine in ages, and your water coloring on it is soooooo pretty! And you're going to convince me I'm afraid that i NEED that Pepperberry embossing folder! I love that cs you used and the simplicity of the JOY and pine sprig are all that's needed on this beautiful card! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)

That wreath could not be more beautiful, Bonnie. Your watercoloring is amazing. The embossing on the second card is just enough to let the sentiment be the focus. Wishing Joy to you and yours too.

Gorgeous cards Bonnies. Love the embossed backgrounds on both and, as you say, that speckled kraft paper is very special xx

Lovely watercolouring on the wreath on the first card. It looks great against the textured layer. And I do love the cs on the second card (and the 3D embossing folder used on it).

Two beautiful elegant cards Bonnie, and love the flowers and fruits, berries and leaves on the wreath and such wonderful watercolouring, and the background EF is absolutely gorgeous. The second with the large sentiment and pine branch over that pretty flecked kraft card looks great with the added 3D embossing. I thought I recognised this Pepperberry design from another recent card and can understand why you decided to get it yourself as it is such a fabulous EF. x

Two beautiful cards Bonnie - love the Joy one in particular! Don't you love your friends who 'enable' you :) just call it an early Christmas gift to yourself...

I'm guessing Lil Inker maybe? It's a shame when a company that makes such wonderful stamps goes out of business. Two of my favorite Christmas sets are from them. Both your cards are gorgeous, Bonnie. Beautiful coloring on the wreath, and I do think that's the coolest kraft cardstock. I fell in love with the Pepperberry folder after seeing you use it so I got one for a friend. Thanks for enabling!

WOW! A very elegant and tasteful Christmas card. I love the gray background color of the first card, it is subdued and perfectly highlights this beautiful Christmas wreath.
The second card is equally elegant. You are absolutely right, this craft paper with a splash of color looks so amazing. You brilliantly created a sentiment with the addition of the color of coffee. Great inspiration, Bonnie!

That's such a gorgeous wreath and die set and you coloured it so beautifully. It's always sad when stamp companies close down, especially when they have such beautiful stamps ♥
I love the embossing fold in the second, Loving that pepper berry set.
