Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
We're halfway through September and Christmas is just around the corner.
I used my favorite holly die cut for this card. It's so easy to watercolor.
(Just remember to do the berries after the leaves.)
I've placed some embossed holly in the aperture and subtle embossing on the
aperture piece.

Beautiful Christmas card. I love that holly and berry die you used and placing it over the embossed background is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
A BERRY merry Christmas card, Bonnie - you have the best bunch of dies and embossing folders to match!
=]
Hush your mouth - you're scaring me!
But I have to say I absolutely love this card. One of your best - clean and simple and yet so elegant. Of course you can't beat traditional Christmas colors.
Sandy xx
The embossing folders add so much to your simple design, Bonnie. Love the traditional holly as the centerpiece. I'm so far behind in making Christmas cards. But I may be CASEing this one.
I love holly and berries on a seasonal card and beautifully coloured Bonnie, and such a pretty white embossed holly background too. x
This large and creatively colored holly sprig fills up your card with beauty! I like the crisp white background and the little bit of embossing to set it off. One more card closer to Christmas!
Love how the holly is enhanced, a beautiufl card. x
Such a great look with the die cut holly over the embossing, Bonnie - love this!! My holiday stash is at 50; can't imagine those who haven't started yet!!
Beautiful sprig of holly, you have inspired me to pull out one of my holly die cuts and play ♥
CAS and oh so pretty Bonnie...totally says CHRISTMAS to me! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
So very pretty! That holly is just so crisp and clean against the white background!
Beautiful card and simply beautiful technique, Bonnie. Thank you so much for sharing:-) Love and Hugs.....Nancy
Your holly look so pretty with that little bit of embossing peeking out around it! Fabulous card, Bonnie!
Love this card! Such beautiful holly and a perfect embossed circle behind it. I think I'll be CASEing this!
Great card, love the mix of embossing and watercoloured die cuts xx
Such a beautiful card Bonnie. x
How I love the rich contrast and texture on this card. I may just have to have that die. But I don't consider any watercoloring simple by a long shot. This is such a gorgeous card!
This is one of my favorite holly dies, too, Bon, and I love the hues of your greens and reds and the addition of the snow! (I hope I can remember that!) It stands out beautifully over the embossed aperture! I appreciate you joining this week's IDEAS prompt with your e/f! Hugs, Dolly
Simply stunning - very effective, especially with the embossed holly in the background. Thank you for joining us at ABC Christmas Challenge xx Lynda/Loopyloo DT
I got really scared when I read the second sentence in your post! And you're absolutely right, the holidays will surprise us soon. And you already have such a beautiful card in your collection of cards for friends.
