Two Turtle Doves

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I have a couple more Christmas cards to share today.  The company that the dove dies
came from sadly closed this week.

The background was made by smooshing Distress Ink and water on
mixed media paper.  The colors I used are below in the card recipe.

I've stamped and heat embossed some leaves and colored them in with
Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink.

The doves were cut from textured cardstock that has a slight sheen to it
and I used some die cut sentiments from my stash.

And a twofer....

Challenges:
ABC Christmas - Y is for Your favorite colors (Teal)
Triple B - Birds (Did not go by the beautiful mood board)

Card Recipe (card 1)
Stamps:  Stronger Together (SSS), Easy Holiday Expressions (Ton)
Ink:   Whisper White, Mermaid Lagoon, Uncharted Mariner, Twisted Citron, Rustic Wilderness (DI)
Paper:  Mixed Media, Neenah Solar White, Textured White, Glimmer
Other: Mat Stacks 3, Layering Mat Stacks 3 (PTI), Doves (IO), Stitched Cover Plate (PTI), White EP

Card Recipe (card 2)

Beautiful cards, Bonnie! I was saddened to hear of IO's closing, too, and you are lucky to own those delicate doves.

Those are some fantastic backgrounds behind those doves. LOVE this and would never think to put those colors together but it makes that die cut pop. I also LOVE the leaves stamped in white behind them. These are beautifully designed!

These are beautiful! What a gorgeous background on which to place those stunning doves. I don't think I have any dove dies....maybe I should remedy that! Too bad that company went out of business, they are exceptionally pretty!
