Bouquet

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

This month has flown by and I'm running out of time to enter

This month they are asking for embossing (either heat or dry) on our floral cards.

No problem there!  I die cut some favorite flowers from mixed media paper used
a combination of brushing ink on them and watercoloring with Distress re-inkers.

When the flowers were dry, I placed them on an piece of cardstock embossed
with a doily die.  I love how the poppy dies embossing texture into the flowers!

Challenges:
Darnell's I.D.E.A.S. - Anything goes week
Flower Challenge #103 - Add embossing
Seize the Birthday - ATG Birthday (did not use the option of fancy fold)

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Super Day (PB)
Ink:   Versafine Onyx Black, Real Red, Garden Green (SU), Sunbeam (SSS)
Paper:   Mixed Media (Strathmore), Neenah Solar White
Other:  Morning Bloosoms, Iceland Poppies dies (SSS), Doily EF (TH), Distress re-inkers (Mustard Seed, Abandoned Coral, Rustic Wilderness)

Enjoy!

Bonnie, those poppies are so beautiful - every one of them reminds me of our Playing Cards with Friends post! I better check my stash to see if I have those - but I always love seeing that doily... SOOO brilliant used to emboss - you clever girl!
Thanks for joining us again at The Flower Challenge!

I want those Icelandic Poppies and they have been out of stock forever. You made them shine in the different colors, Bonnie, and that doily is a great background for them. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.

CAS and ever so pretty! Love the pops of color from the poppies!

Whatever you did to color those poppies, Bon, is magic. They look so real and very thin, just the way real petals are! And I love the way the e/f mimics the petals ... and the ribbon and the sediment. Another winner, girl! Thank you for using this week's I.D.E.A.S. Calendar and linking in the gallery to motivate others! I hope it cools off soon back there! Hugs, Dolly

The red, yellow and orange poppies are beautiful Bonnie and look great over that really pretty dry embossed Doily EF background. x
